Not enjoyable in its current state as bgm and some effects dont work
Bgm wont play (or play for a sec then fade out) Launcher sfx are out of sync
Textures can change into negative when viewed at certain angles, dual wield makes you three handed, flashlight dosent work,
frequent but slight stuttering and sub 60fps on given hardware for most of the time spent playing
Game runs as a zombie after closing
No major problems but you should save often to prevent losing your progress when bugs happen
Occasional appearance of a bug (2x in ~6h)which will freeze the in game screen. Buttons still work but may be invisible due to aforementioned freeze.
I'm using a nVidia GPU and a AMD one. On my AMD machine it was a bit more difficult to run Fallout4. I had to add another proton attribute but it is possible in only 2 Steps! STEP 1 -> set the following launch options "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 STEAM_RUNTIME_HEAVY=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%". Without the quotes of course. STEP 2 -> Modify your "/home/USERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Fallout4/Fallout.ini". Now we add just 2 little lines. The first line "sStartingConsoleCommand=gr off" goes right under [General]. The second line "bBackgroundMouse=1" goes to the end of [Control]. That should do the trick, have fun ;D
While the listed problems where a dealbreaker for me I dont think that a "typical gamer" would be bothered much by it
Videos dont play.
Works well out of the box occasional crashes may happen on long play sessions (encountered about 10 times in 70+ hours)
Seems to work fine after setting "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" as a start option couldn't find any weird behavior
Works good enough so you can get the achievements
Jumping is bugged
