Needs community layout, otherwise plays perfectly
Changed left stick top and bottom to be forward and back
Need to enable exp Proton on first launch, remap controls
remapped several buttons, as several keys aren't available on the default layour
Changed to low settings with resolution scale at medium
On initial launch a MSVC++ installer window would appear, clicking either yes or no would cause it to close and not do anything else, changing to experimental proton allows the game to launch (only needed for first launch)
Multiplayer worked seemingly as expected, both when joining other hosts and having people join you
Over all a bit more power hungry than I'd like, need to change to experimental Proton on first launch, needs a customized layout as some actions are not available with the default, and need to manually invoke the keyboard to type. When first enabling the TDP limited game began to chug at ~15fps, but ran normally after adjusting the limit
Game runs perfectly, but default layout doesn't cut it
You'll need to use a community layout as the default misses out on some controls, also you will have to invoke the virtual keyboard yourself to input text
Seems to function as intended, but perfomance has something going on, all settings give about same fps
Regardless of settings, even both minimum and maximum settings ended up with the same performance at ~45fps and similar power draws, setting to 30fps causes stuttering
Less than stellar performance but otherwise functional
Some structures like small repository would flicker invisible when looking at them from particular angles
Controller was not detected on initial launch, had to go to settings using the touchscreen and disable and re-enable the controller option
Game defaulted to 1280x720, changed to 1280x800. Ran quite poorly on default (near-max) settings ~17-20fps, changed to fast preset, ran ~35-47fps when outdoors on foot, dropped to ~22-27fps when riding motorcycle, fairly solid 60fps in space.
Played with EAC disabled. While playing multiplayer beams from the survival tool i.e. salvage and resource mode had incorrect textures,
Overall is in a rather playable state, the game's own controller layout is functional if weird
Needed to use touchscreen to get through launcher, otherwise works great
Had to use touchscreen to set settings in initial launch window
Game initially started in 900x600, had to change res in launcher using touchscreen to 1280x800, ran quite well, could still get a smooth 60fps even at 5w TDP with the defaulted-to High settings, no noticeable (new) bugs, just the ones present on every platform for this game
Controls well, a bit weak performance-wise
Changed settings to Medium, framelimited to 30
Very poor performance, not really playable
Game only runs at ~10-15 fps, hrot_gl setting and resolution slider do not help
Maybe if you're masochistic you can try but in the current state it just runs too poorly
Functions as intended
Default right joystick sensitivity is rather low, can be turned up in settings
Works perfectly with community layout
Playable, but performance during expeditions is subpar
Some text was small but not unreadable
When first starting the game a purple screen with artifacted textures appears, after that no noticeable artifacts. On experimental Proton instead it was a calibration pattern. When I first launched the game it auto set the graphics to so low that I could not even read the text on the main menu buttons
Ran at a perfect 60fps everywhere except on-planet doing explorations, where it would drop down to ~29fps
Works perfectly, entire game can be played with the touchscreen alone, or just with the right stick/trackpad
Runs beautifully, however lack of steam cloud saves does suck
on first launch I had to use the touchscreen to click through the MSVC++ installer window
Works perfectly as a game to play on the go
Online multiplayer worked exactly as expected, no noticable bugs
