as you would expect it runs pretty well
fix:alt+f3 -> make fullscreen
game just runs well
spawning ships over 500k blocks crashes the game in ~5 minutes, servers too. Suspect its issue with the game, and not related to linux.
suspect the issues had were core game issues, not linux related. server crashes with large block counts
suspect the issues had were core game issues, not linux related. server crashes with large block counts
only issues appear to be the core game engine itself, not linux related. runs the same as windows.
For my hardware I needed to put everything that had high graphics quality on medium to run without major drops.
Works Perfectly Fine, but Slight Issue at the Moment
Could not load into a singleplayer game due to connection to local host being lost. To resolve this simply go offline on Steam and then singleplayer worked normally.
As I say in the "Bugs" portion, for some reason while you're online on Steam the singleplayer just won't load the game. I'm not smart enough in Linux to be able to figure out what the exact issue is, but it is capable of being fixed by simply going offline.
Otherwise, game works great.
Singleplayer would not start
Singleplayer would not start. It stopped at "Connecting..." and I received an Error - Unable to Connect. I tried Multiplayer breifly and it works fine. Singleplayer only starts if you go offline in Steam.
Works perfectly as native.
Works as intended
Very good game. Runs perfectly
mangohud %command%
To see notes look at my previous report.
With the different tinkering I've done this round, it works now. Using this variation on mangohud's implementation it actually displays properly. Perfect frame times with various low level spikes; nothing more than 15ms spikes.
Wonderful Game, perfect for sandboxers, strategists, or RP'ers. Highly suggested. Runs beautifully too, I'm on max settings with 144hz fps.
MANGOHUD=1 %command%
Network data throughput is needed, and a lot of it. If you're low on it/ have a congested network then you'll experience high ping and server desync when warping in/out of sectors; same thing when other people/npcs warp in/out.
Data throughput is less of an issue with LAN vs. WAN
One issue with mango is that it attaches to the invisble server application and not the client application with every launch. Other than that, the game runs smoothly and beautifully. Just be careful with your network bandwidth.
It's controls are really intuitive for the community one, and you can choose to use joystick for traveling, but touchpad for accuracy aiming
Works perfectly fine
In windowed mode the desktop task bar is covering the bottom part of the game (other non-native games automatically cover the task bar in windowed mode). Fullscreen works perfectly fine.
tried playing online coop with a friend, everything good
2560x1440@144Hz, all graphics settings turned to max
Game works in mp but sucks, single player doesnt work at all
gamemoderun %command%
Multiplayer works although it suffers from frequent slow downs as in every second is slows then i snormal for a second, making flight nauseating. Normal single player opened once for me and had the same issue other than that it never worked.
Works flawless natively
Works flawlessly, after significant control changes.
40 FPS
One of the better native games I've played recently
Needs community layout, otherwise plays perfectly
Changed left stick top and bottom to be forward and back
Game ran flawlessly, I would be surprised if anybody had any complaints about it. The native version works as expected.
Native version works perfectly. The devs did an exemplary job with it.
Multiplayer works perfectly. Server browser is a slow if you switch to internet tab.
Native version works perfectly
Text is very small and hard to read
Connecting to my multiplayer posed no problems what so ever
