Run with Colonial Charter Journey since I could run vanilla on plain wine but couldn't get CC to work. No sound working but I didn't try the work arounds because I play without sound anyway.
Main menu and settings work, launch was fine. Attempting to launch a new game, however, crashes the game to desktop.
Ran perfectly for several hours without any tweaks. Performance was good the whole time. Cannot alt-tab out though. If fullscreen, game goes black and never reloads. If windowed, window shrinks down to a tiny little black rectangle and does not reload and cannot be resized.
Runs perfectly as long as you don't alt-tab. Alt-tabbing away causes the screen to shink and/or go black. Attempting to replace the d3d_11 with OpenGL or OGL_4 resulted in launching with all sound and a blank black screen. Didn't bother trying to alt-tab then.
Crashes when you alt tab (as basically all farming sim games do) and has some weird flickering shadows on the highest graphics settings but plays perfectly otherwise and neither thing is, I think, particularly terrible.
Have not tried the tweaks listed yet but the game opens and seems to run fine except that my mouse will not work in game. Works in menus with no problem but not in the game itself and cannot find any settings that would cause issues. Tried multiple mouses as well.
After installing the steam beta version and upgrading to the newest drivers rather than the ones that were released with my OS, I could get the mouse to detect. Had some minorish graphical issues though.
- Doors did not render
- Hoses/Tubing/Pipes in installation of sinks and such did not render
- Wiring did not render
- Something in the garage cleaning job did not render. Not sure what since I couldn't see it. Bikes maybe?
One other issue. Attempting to exit game crashes to desktop. Progress is saved but thought I'd note that it doesn't shut down nicely.
Choppy difficult to play. Benchmark in the graphics options of the game showed high FPS but visuals were still very stuttery for all levels.
Everything was very slow and choppy, both menus and gameplay, regardless of graphics settings level
Launch of game gives a 'no graphics adapter' pop up but subsequent menus show my GPU listed...as the monitor?
Seems to run perfectly so far. A few minor issues with falling through the ground that windows users had as well and occasional problem after alt-tabbing where you can't move the mouse all the way down the screen but that only seems to happen if you alt-tab several times in fairly quick succession.
A few very minor visual bugs but nothing that prevents gameplay or makes the game any more difficult. Played through 3/5 of the 'ages'.
