I used the below, but since I didn't install Steam in flatpack, my directory is a little different
Multiplayer works with this fix:
mkdir -p ~/Downloads/vcredist
cd ~/Downloads/vcredist
wget https://download.microsoft.com/download/0/6/4/064F84EA-D1DB-4EAA-9A5C-CC2F0FF6A638/vc_redist.x64.exe
cabextract vc_redist.x64.exe
cabextract a10
sudo cp ucrtbase.dll /home/(username)/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/813780/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32/
In the last line, replace "myusername" with your username. Maybe your steam installation is under a different path, use that on then.
Game actually worked perfectly, though I didn't try it without doing the VC redistributable install.
Game works great!
VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json %command%
Can't run without launch options, but a very simple fix. Looks great!
Just ran glorious eggroll proton instead of regular. Didn't try on regular, probably works just fine.
Game ran fine out of the box at 144fps, however my resolution was capped at 1600 x 1200 for some reason.
Resolution was capped at 1600 x 1200. Could not go higher
Slight input lag.
Game works fine, but screen resolution issue is very annoying.
Worked great out of the box using standard Proton (7.0-6 as of now)
Worked perfectly, no problems
Game works perfectly!
Runs around 70fps for me on a 34" screen. Infrequent drops.
Some minor lag while I was hosting. Didn't try joining a game
Runs a little better in Windows, but not noticeably different.
Helldivers 2 ran flawlessly yesterday. Today, black screen
%command% --use-d3d11
No tinkering required yesterday. Today an update was released and no amount of using DX11, different proton builds both GE and regular all the way back to 7, got it to work. I switched to fullscreen instead of windowed fullscreen before I closed the game...maybe that's it?
eval $( echo "%command%" | sed "s/2KLauncher\/LauncherPatcher.exe'.*/Base\/Binaries\/Win64Steam\/CivilizationVI.exe'/" )
Game doesn't work without launch options. Never expected this on Linux Native support.
Game works perfectly, but pretty boring
You will have no trouble running this with proton, but the game sucks lol
I'd get slowdowns any time something significant happened, though I am playing on max settings.
Proton-GE seems to be the only way to get ingame cinematics to work. After version 29, this is broken for some reason.
