Ran fine with no issues on a server with 4 people for hours.
Installs and loads Initial loading is a little sluggish That may be an engine issue as I remember it did that on Windows
Uplay update hangs
When you hit launch it opens uplay and attempts to patch uplay which is no longer in existance. Third party launcher again keeps you from playing a game you bought.
Nvidia driver crashes after attempting to load
Does not load on Proton or Wine through Origin. Refunded Origin and attempted on Proton and was unable to load game. Origin Thin layer loads, however, when the game attempts to load the Nvidia driver crashes. I attempted this on 2 separate Nvidia drivers as well as 3 separate proton versions.
Versions tested:
6-3-7
5-13-6
Runs good. If you have the appropriate hardware there is no difference in playing on Windows and through Proton on Linux
EAC still refuses to load the game
I get stuck even loading. The EAC bar just sticks. I fear that these developers do not care enough to make this happen for us.
Copying the EAC folder to the EGS folder DOES NOT WORK At this point the DEVELOPER needs to fix this. Error 500 on all matches
Does not work, waste of money at this point. Developer needs to fix their side to enable EAC on Steam.
Does not run anymore
It was originally running, but after March 14 it has stopped opening. It will get to the initializing screen and then that screen disappears and The game shows running but does not load. I even changed hardware (from Nvidia to AMD) and it DOES NOT LOAD. Proton experimental bleeding eddge and Easy anticheat runtime both installed.
Another EAC failure
This game won't even load for me now, 6 months ago it would load but you'd get kicked out of any server. It's unfortunate so many developers don't want to get rid of EAC. Considering it does not even prevent most cheaters anyway.
Does not work with Battle eye the publisher uses
Unable to install Battleye according to the installer. I'm not going back to windows so I refunded. DO NOT BUY UNTIL THE publishers start fixing these problems.
Game does not work because of EAC
changed the read/write permissions of the temp file and used the GIThub extraction
Even after followng the github instructions to the letter the EAC error message continues and you cannot load a game. Refunded.
