Had to run older proton. Anything above 7.0-6 would result in frozen black screen.
Runs perfectly on experimental with no additional tinkering. 145 hours on record.
Perfect out of the box.
Put in almost 10 hours, with the longest play session being around 3. Absolutely no issues.
Runs fine out of the box. Will very infrequently freeze when alt-tabbing out to desktop and back.
Any proton above 7.0-6 would result in the game loading very slow, like 10 minutes. After loading, game was < 1fps. 7.0-6 was flawless.
One issue I had was that every multiplayer attempt would result in a "failed to connect" message. This was fixed by enabling ipv6.
Note: when you launch the game, there will be a popup with two radio buttons that both say " Play Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition." You must pick the second option and press play. Using the first option will crash.
Occasional stuttering that seems to abate over time.
Rare crashes when viewing upgrade tree screen.
