Runs flawless with Logitech G29 with Feedback. Change G29 input to PS3. Running at 144fps max settings.

Proton Experimental has a significant frame drop compared to WIndows
Proton-6.4-GE-1 crashed either on loading screen or within the first 10 seconds of being in the game.
Runs great Native but even better with Proton-GE 6.4. Runs max settings on 2K 120fps.
The game does not have an FOV Slider and is impossible to change FOV on Linux. It is possible on WIndows via regedit.
Works great with Proton Experimental. Game launches at 800x600 resolution but runs and plays fine after changing video settings in-game.
Heroic Launcher - Will not start with any Proton versions. Black screen with Runtime Error.
Could be an issue with installation directory as I used a custom installation.
Works out of the box better than Windows. Everything maxed out at 1440p running above 65fps. No stutters/lag and no FPS drops.
I used Proton-7.0rc3-GE-1 for compatibility. An overall solid and extremely enjoyable experience. I played for 5 hours without pause and there were no crashes either. Alt-tabbing in and out for long periods of time works as it's supposed to also.
6.4-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Game launched in a very low and stretched resolution. I was able to set it to Windowed and then changed the resolution accordingly.
The game detects the microphone but Voice Recognition only works on Windows 10 with Cortana. Meaning that you can't use it. You can't ask questions or use the Ouija board or voice box.

Turn on Feral Gamemode with launch option: gamemoderun %command%
Certain areas of maps and certain tools like the mirror wand drop the game's FPS. Also, do not change the FOV to anything past the default 100. Any number above default will make the game stutter heavily. Default variant gives around 80-110FPS.
In 10 hours of gameplay the game crashes 3-4 times.

Game runs flawlessly after the January update. The developers fixed major parts of maps where FPS would drastically drop.
The game is very playable under Proton 6.3-8 and running around 100 FPS.
Tested on Proton-6.21-GE-2 and Proton-7.1-GE-2 but the game would crash instantly after pressing New Game on both runner versions. The most stable and playable version is Proton 6.3-8. Running the game through Proton 6.3-8 stopped the game from crashing.
A true native port. Ultra settings at 2k running at 80fps.
-My game kept crashing at launch with the error "signal SIGABRT(6): Program Aborted". To fix this, make sure your Locale settings are correctly configured from Settings. Then restart or relog and it should work. Check fix here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=251210
-Running the game with Proton-GE give me an infinite loading screen, running the game native works flawlessly after fixing Locale.
Game could not detect correct installation and disk space. To bypass use the launch option: PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%
WIth the amount of times it has been re-released, it remains a classic which is still played to to this day thanks to near infinite mods.

A physics bug will occur if you are playing the game at over 90fps. For high refresh rate, you will need to add some lines in the Skyrim.ini file (This is not a Linux issue, this occurs on Windows also). This file should be found at: /home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/72850/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Skyrim/.
In Skyrim.ini add the specific line for your monitor's refresh rate (Without the "is for xxfps".

The game will no longer make objects and animals jump around.
FPS would be jumping from 144 to 40 depending on where i looked with GE-Proton 7-47. I switched to the Beta Proton Next 9.0-6 which keeps a stable 144FPS.
Works flawlessly at max settings 1440p. No significant issues found.
Some fps drops in specific areas but still well above 60fps.
This game runs as it plays. Like a masterpiece.
If you have an Ambient Light Setup (Ambilight), you will experience severe micro stuttering. Turn off the lights and it will return to normal performance.
Surprisingly the app works almost as good as in Windows. The only thing you can't do in the app is change the wallpaper.
Proton-6.19-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Blue border shows as an overlay if program is in the background. Can be resolved by minimizing the app and not leaving it open in the background.
Wallpaper Editor works however, the menus lag slightly. But the animations, effects and movement work flawlessly. Surprisingly, you can make a wallpaper with it in Linux from start to finish.
This only works on KDE. Use the Wallpaper Engine KDE Plugin (https://github.com/catsout/wallpaper-engine-kde-plugin). You can use the application as you would on Windows through Steam. You can view, download and create wallpapers. After downloading a wallpaper, use the KDE Plugin to change it. Some effects do not work (they are listed on the Github page).
Great experience overall but has mouse input lag. Fixed by tabbing out and in constantly.
As many people pointed out, this game has a big issue with most gaming mice inputs. The game runs around 70fps but any time you move your mouse to look around it drops to 15 and goes up again when you stop moving. I have managed to fix this by constantly tabbing out and in of the game constantly until it went away. Now I only have to tab out and in when launcher the game. Not an issue from the mouse. It's a game related issue.
MOUSE INPUT LAG FIX - Excellent game overall
MOUSE LAG INPUT FIX:
1: Enter the game and press continue or new game. 2: When you are able to move and look around, press the G key to auto-walk. 3: Tab out and back in. 4: Mouse input lag should no longer be an issue.
You will need to do this every time you enter the game.

I use the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed.

Fix: Turn your mouse Polling Rate from 1000 to 500. The game's engine doesn't seem to support a polling rate above 500. You should no longer have any input/fps lag.
