Throughout many hours of gameplay, I've concluded that Dead by Daylight runs better on Linux, than it did on Windows. Zero tinkering required, zero stutters, great responsiveness when hitting skillchecks. Hoping EAC doesn't break!
Works perfectly out of the box, I'd argue even better than on Windows 11 - zero tinkering required!
I was positively surprised to see the game work immediately after installation, while being stable as a rock and genuinely performing better than when on the Windows system. Hell, on Windows I had to spend 2 hours fixing screen tearing issues and microstutters!
Yet again I am positively surprised how the same game runs better than it did on Windows 11. Zero issues with entering fullscreen, alt-tabbing, freesync or crashing. Feels more responsive and fluid as well. Absolute kino.
Completely borked, ever since Themida was for an unknown to the public reason added to the game. Same "Wrong DLL" error displays every time.
Really disappointing, since I can't even play in screen mode - forget VR...
