Startup options: "-nolauncher -nosplash -skipintro". Do not use -world=empty if game works without it (try it first), or else menu will look bad and customizing character is no go, so use it as a last resort (tho if it won't work without it, you probably won't be able to join a game since it will crash either when loading world in menu or in game, you are just postponing the crash with that launch option in most cases).
