Local split-screen multiplayer worked without any problems or thinkering

Tried both Valve's Proton and Proton GE, both worked fine without any issues
MANGOHUD=1 gamemoderun %command% --use-d3d11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
Had to use DX11 since DX12 crashes the GPU drivers on RX7000 series. Haven't had any fullscreen issues when I switched to GE-Proton9-1

Changed to GE Proton just in case because of the XBox sign in
DXVK_HDR=1 ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 gamescope -W 3440 -H 1440 -w 3440 -h 1440 -r 144 -f -b --hdr-enabled --hdr-debug-force-output --hdr-sdr-content-nits 550 -- env MANGOHUD=1 gamemoderun %command%
Both problems happen only when using gamescope (I use it for HDR on KDE):
- The game doesn't start in proper fullscreen. It starts in windowed mode, but after switching to fullscreen on the window titlebar (right click -> more actions -> fullscreen), it switches to proper fullscreen as expected.
- Aspect ratio is bad until I change the value of VSYNC in the game's settings at least once, after that aspect ratio is as expected and I can set VSYNC to the desired value (I play with VSYNC off).
Without any tinkering, the game works as expected. When using gamescope however (in my case for the HDR), the game has some problems with fullscreen and aspect ratio on startup, but both can be easily fixed while in the main menu, before setting sail
Works without a problem, crashes sometimes while loading the first match of the playing session
Sometimes crashes when loading the first match in a session, doesn't happen every time. If it doesn't crash on the first match loading, works without a problem till the end of the playing session
Downloaded Proton Hotfix from Steam Library and used it for running the game
Native version worked better than Proton version for me
For whatever reason the game always starts with output being the first output option from the KDE output list. After selecting the "Play all audio via this device" in KDE output list on the proper output, the sound works fine
Tried Proton and Native, Native had more than a double FPS in my base. Also tried modding using r2modman, worked like a charm without any problems, just follow the instructions in the r2modman app, it's really straight forward (for both Proton and Native version of the game)
Worked out of the box
Completed the whole game with a Steam friend without any issues
