Xbox Sign-in doesn't work
The game doesn't launch with GE-Proton, only Proton 9 started it. Didn't try multiplayer but solo is working great.

GE-Proton9-15 doesn't launch the game. -- RIP Proton9.0-3 and Proton8.0-5 the game start but with a wine assertion failed error that quit the game. --- That's better ! Proton7.0-6 the game start, no wine error but it crash to desktop --- Almost there....
Proton6.3-8, the game start without errors and crashes ! --- Wololo
Of course, Microsoft still doesn't let us to use our xbox account..

Few tech icons are missing
Tried some launch options but nvidia DLSS, RTX etc. options are still disabled. "Unrecognized GPU" pop-up on launch. Xbox Sign-In doesn't work.
The game works flawlessly ! The missing icons is a minor problem because you can still see the text. Microsoft won't let us log to xbox, just like in the others AoE. The unrecognized GPU is a bigger problem because you can't use DLSS,RTX etc. but it run great without nvidia stuff.
Doesn't launch at all

"DX12 is not supported by your gpu", adding -dx11 ---> "a D3D11 compatible GPU is required to run the engine".
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 remove the error but the game doesn't start. Proton Ex, GE-Proton9, Proton 9, 8,7,6 nothing is working. :sad:
Zero problems out of the box (DX12 selected)
Steam default compatibility selected for that one !

Fps are dropping from kinda smooth to unplayable, DLSS seems to make it worse
I was able to install and launch the game without any problems, and play a few games without any problems either. The game doesn't run as smoothly as it does under Windows, but a quick trip to the graphics settings was enough for me to get a nice, fluid game.
Crash after being kicked
You can't join others players without being kicked, in a coop game.
You have to disable the launcher to launch the game with : Game Properties > Betas > Beta Participation > temporary_launcher_workaround - Bypass Launcher ---> Launch the game with DX12.
And then it just works...but you can't join others players.
