Controller support added, works out of the box, but recommended to go medium on the GFX due to larger enemy counts in survivors mode tanking the FPS considerably.
Game doesn't support simultaneous mouse + controller, so trackpad & gyro need to emulate a joystick, but with forgiving auto-aim that's a non-issue.
Additionally, menus work a little wonky due to right stick controlling the UI too, so gyro activation needed.
