If someone were to have my problems, they probably say it's a poor experience.
Game is very sluggish. Freezes often.
discord streaming seems to completely tank the proformance. But no problems with the game itself.
Works great including the rollback update. Grind your B&Bs linux user.
Good experience for the game in quesiton.
screen sometimes flickers. Fixes itself after tabbing out.
Idol Showdown is known to have bugs and optimization issues even on Windows. Game will often stutter after a few matches or resetting the stage in training mode. Many problems I experienced isn't a product of proton.
Doesn't seem to Launch
I didn't get any error messages, it just simply doesn't open.
Game works out the box. Your experience would be the same as on Windows.
I tried playing this on elementary os and the game didn't run at all. Maybe I botched the settings on that OS or Zorin is more equipped for this.
Game, from my experience, ran exactly as it should as if it was on Windows.
Note: I didn't test the rollback patch on linux nor the workshop.
On launch the game thinks it crashed bringing up a pop-up window. Closing it will shortly have the window reopen. Tabbing out and back in (or swapping gnome workspaces, this seems to work better) seems to fix this issue.
Everything is fine besides the input delay. Feels about 2 - 3 frames worse than my experience on Windows.
Slight input delay
The game runs near perfectly, but having inputs drop for seamingly no reason would ruin the experience of more advance players.
Missing the intro video which isn't too important
For some reason keyboard inputs work differently. Inputs drop in places they shouldn't. Doing a [236] input will only give a [26] dropping the input.
