Amazing game, runs great out of the box.
HOWEVER, I wasn't able to test the online. This was because well...sadly nobody is playing this game anymore.
It works perfectly out of the box.
Runs well, just as it should. I had some issues on Wayland but on GNOME X11 it works just fine without any tinkering. (aside from me using forced experimental for all games)
Runs perfectly.
Important: Do not use "Default" in "Max FPS"; preferably change it to your monitor's refresh rate!
Did not launch at all. It shows the game splash window then instantly crashes.
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
I tried gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% to no avail. Seems the game is broken now.
The game crashes before showing the main loading screen
I have tried to run the game using Proton experimental and Proton 8.0-5. I also tried on both Wayland and Xorg but the game still can't load.
Runs great without any configuration, was able to do several competitive games
Switching to windowed doesn't seem to work whatsoever
Had to kill DXSETUP and iscriptevaluator on first launch (otherwise launch would hang indefinitely), works almost flawlessly every launch after.
Works perfectly out of the box. If you are good at it you'll enjot it.
gamemoderun %command%
Worked without any issues.
Had crashes with both non-experimental and GE, but experimental worked perfectly.
Very Slight FPS drops in some heavy scenarios
Basically flawless, some very slight slowdowns, might be normal though
Applied same workaround as https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/7928#note_1693736 to launch the game
Needed to disable firewall for matchmaking to work
Splash is visible for a few seconds before it fails with "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000"
Worked perfectly out of the box
Works perfectly without any trouble
Works perfectly out-of-the-box on a Steam Deck
Very infrequent (2 total) crashes throughout 20h of gameplay.

Might as well be Linux native! Great experience.
Unable to activate windowed mode; stuck full screen on default monitor
Played via X11; did not try Wayland. Could not launch with Proton Experimental regardless whether using launch options.
Able to get the intro splash screen to show up, but the game later crashes with an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION".
Older protons / ProtonGE do not help; works perfectly on windows D:
No issues
nothing to add, worked fine
All said, just enjoy

Did not even notice it was using proton at first, felt like a linux native
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemoderun %command%
Everything was basically just black except for the UI elements.
Ran around 20-30fps on main menu regardless of graphical settings.
Using version 470 nvidia driver.
Great overall, controls on PS4 controller work great as well as on keyboard & mouse
It works right out of the box. No changes needed and no issues at all
TDP set to 6 for battery life and stable 60fps. Below that it will frequently dip under 60
The only issues are related to the game servers and my own internet connection, the game itself has 0 issues

Very fun game, can recommend.
mangohud gamemoderun %command%
Works flawlessly.
Runs great with no perceivable issues!
Wasnt able to start the game, tried normal proton, experimental and ge proton.
Wasnt able to start the game, tried normal proton, experimental and ge proton.
Works 100% fine

Fantastic F2P Multiplayer Game for Deck.
Rare Crashes - game sometimes crashes (not frequent though) when entering into a lobby . Upon reload player is still locked into the match but can't play or go back to the main menu until the match is over.
The game runs and plays great on Steam Deck. Battery life is about 3ish hours, so not super demanding. I think the default control setup though is awful and should be changed from WASD with Mouse trackpad to gamepad since the game heavily relies on cursor position when hitting the core and is very hard on the trackpad. The crashes that do happen every now and then can also be annoying since they happen when entering a matchmaking lobby. Outside of those inconveniences, by far a very enjoyable multiplayer experience for the steamdeck.
Just install and go, the ideal linux gaming experience :)
Frametimes not great, though FPS is good.
Multiplayer flawless.
Works perfectly fine
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gamemoderun %command%
During a match fps is between 10 and 30
Game runs perfectly out of the box except for default deck control settings.
Game starts with "keyboard and mouse" controller preset. Simply change it to "gamepad" on steam's UI and you are good to go. Everything runs perfectly out of the box and multilayer is fully compatible. UI is easy to read but you have the option to scale it up a bit more if needed.
