I tried launching this game with Proton 6.3-7 and Proton Experimental, it does not launch.
I tried with launch options PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1, PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=90, and WINEDLLOVERRIDES=”crypt32=b,n” but it does not help, it never launches. I enter my password for Uplay/Ubisoft Connect, it gets to the Far Cry 3 logo, then has a windowed black screen of Far Cry 3 and never fully launches.
Works out of the box with Proton 6.3-7 and runs well.
It's a good game but it seems like the developers have stopped updating it, at least it runs well.
Runs quite well, maybe not always perfect 60 FPS but pretty close, seems to be quite playable.
Works almost perfectly for me Out of the Box using Proton 6.3-6 except audio is very stuttery on both Proton 6.3-6 and Proton Experimental.
Audio is very stuttery and basically unusable. Tested with Proton 6.3-6 and Proton Experimental, broken in both.
Needed to use protontricks 212630 uplay in order to install uplay, then log into uplay, and activate Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier against my account through uplay, then re-launched the game via Steam in order to play.
Playable without multiplayer using with launch option "/belaunch -be" inside Uplay/Ubisoft Connect with Proton-6.18-GE-2.

You need a clean Proton prefix (compatdata) and you must be using Proton-6.18-GE-2 in order to launch Uplay/Ubisoft Connect, then inside of Uplay/Ubisoft Connect you must add the launch option "/belaunch -be" to Siege.
It's a shame because other than the 3 main bugs in my report, it runs great.
Random black screen at times rendering the game basically unplayable
In addition to random black screens, there are also somewhat regular crashes on both Proton 6.3-6 and Proton Experimental.
In addition to the black screen and crashing bugs, your teammates will randomly go missing (completely vanish entirely, gone without a trace), at least on the first level.
