Works flawlessly
had turn off vsync on wayland when playing on a higher refresh rate monitor
Mouse input doesn't match the framerate and thus feels kind of laggy, controller is unaffected

Slows down on Wayland when playing in fullscreen/borderless. Windowed runs flawlessly. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2236 This problem isn't exclusive to the game but is caused by Wayland. Given the report it might get fixed at some point.

Only tinkering needed is to switch to experimental Proton version. Videos also worked ootb.
Was able to play both 999 and VLR
videos dont play when using proton 7.0.6; using proton ge plays the videos but without sound
