gamemoderun DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Initially had performance problems where the game would not go above 40fps and all hardware monitoring programs showed GPU usage at 100%. The lag would start after all of the opening cutscenes.
Realized the issue was that my GPU would randomly switch to using only 1 lane. Had to update my BIOS (have an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WIFI mobo). After I did this the game is buttery smooth 120fps @ 1440p with 200% texture quality.

Works great on desktop out of the box

Made right trackpad a mouse to make it easier to interact with network disconnect dialogue when docked with an external display.
Sometimes when there were network blips (or after waking from sleep), a popup would show saying the game has disconnected and I'd have to either use the touch screen or trackpad to dismiss it. You can reconnect in the game's settings menu.
Ran on medium graphics system on 60 fps. Had to reverify files cuz everytime Futaba's all-out attack activated, the game will give a black screen. Other than that game ran fine.

I had a weird issue with this game running at 15fps even on high performance mode. I searched the entirety of the internet for a solution (most suggest using dxvk-async, but it didnt work for me...), until I found out that my GPU was running without bus acceleration - on a x1 lane instead of a x16 lane. Changed the config on the BIOS (enabled pciexpress 3.0, for newer motherboards probably 4.0), and it went back to normal. This was quite obscure to figure out.

Runs fabulously out of the box
I ran the game without anything extra, but I recommend using GE-Proton or Proton Experimental with gamemode on any game you run in Linux. Nothing much to say here, the game runs with no issues regardless of those things.

The audio cracks a lot. It isn't a major problem, but it can hurt a bit your immersion sometimes.

Didn't see anywhere reported online, but for me it would not launch if it was installed on a NTFS drive. After moving game install to another drive it launched just fine

Great experience OOTB without tinkering
Nearly constant 120FPS with some dips to about ~90FPS in some graphic intense scenes. Resolution does not go up from 1920x1080, but it seems it was design like that.

Perfect on RTX 3050 on Fedora
Plays at 120FPS at 1440p max settings. The only setting that ever caused my GPU fans to spin up was render scaling set to 200% at 1440p. At 1080p it was completely fine going to 200%, and at 1440p you don't really even need it.

Limited refresh rate to 40 Hz and in-game fps to 60.

Protontricks used to install Reloaded II for mods.
Text is somewhat broken at 720p.
Play at 1080p to fix low res text, and disable AA as the supersampling renders it unnecessary.
Mods with the Reloaded II mod manager work without issue once installed.

About 25 hours in with no issues or crashes to report.
I ran into an issue where I couldn't advance past June 5th. No matter what proton version I used, it would sit on a black screen with the date animation going and music playing but never loading the next scene. I booted the game on a different PC running Windows 10, loaded my cloud save, advanced to June 6th and saved. I swapped back to my machine and was able to beat the game without encountering anything like that again.
I can't know for sure if proton/linux was even the root cause of the problem.
Switching proton versions too many times will cause DRM to lock you out for 24 hours. I found this out the hard way over a weekend where I was really excited to have time to play.

Alt-Tabbing would cause window to dissapear
Alt tabbing issues likely due to me using Hyprland, works once I used gamescope as a window manager

FPS drops below 40-50 in some areas
It can occasionally crash while alt tabbing.

Randomly if you minimize the game while in cutscene it could crash itself

Perfectly playable, no problems of any sort.
Probably because of using Hyprland, I had to use a windowed display and make it full screen through the WM. Otherwise, on fullscreen mode the display was stretched horizontally and not full vertically

used this tutorial to get mods working using the ASI loader https://gamebanana.com/tuts/15409
using mods really isnt necessary to experience the game but i liked experiencing most of the game with mods

I played through the whole game on linux and it works perfectly

The game freeze/black screen few times after Alt-Tab many times.

Perfect operation, frame rate performance is slightly better than Windows
My screen is set to 4K/full height/150% output scale, and in most scenes, it can maintain between 60-70 FPS, with a minimum of no less than 55 FPS, which is very stable. If I lower the resolution to 1080P, the frame rate can reach 110 FPS. The overall frame rate performance at higher resolutions is slightly better than on Windows (especially in densely populated areas), and I haven't noticed any differences in rendering quality.

This game will not work on Slackware 15.0 because Mesa is too old. After upgrading to Slackware 64-bit-current, with Proton Experimental and no startup options, it works great! I have a Radeon R7 360 graphics card.

*30hz *TDP 6W
Corre sin ningun problma a 60fps estables pero para una mayor autonomia de la bateria lo cambie a 30fps

45Hz
can limit game to 60hz if want some smoothness, if not 45hz is fine
gamemoderun %command%

El juego funciona bien, aunque mi consejo es ajustarlo en calidad media y a 60 fps. En Shibuya hay caĆda de 5-10 fps.
TDP ajustado a 9W
