Easy Anticheat fails to start.
The game is playable in offline mode if you disable the anticheat, but dispite numerous installs and testing 7.x, experimental and GE versions of proton, the anticheat refuses to start.
Anticheat still prevents play.
With GE proton, plays with 10 - 15 frames on low settings (without anticheat), proton experimental crashes instantly when launching.

Switching to or from fullscreen without restarting the game causes severe graphical glitches.
Getting close to Deadfall Timber causes my GPU to lock up.
Performance is pretty good, but approaching Deadfall Timber causes a GPU crash on my 7900xtx. I can't seem to resolve the issue. The game plays fine as long as you take a wide path around the compound, but unfortunately it is possible to spawn there, which causes a crash instantly on loading in.
The old EAC-EOS version this game uses is broken on systems with up-to-date glibc.
The game runs perfectly if launched without an internet connection, but as a primarily multiplayer game, that's not great.
Easy Anti Cheat crashes on launch and prevents the game from launching at all. If you launch the game with no internet connection, you can not reconnect to play online without relaunching the game, which doesn't work because EAC does not allow the game to start online.
After hours of trying everything I can think of, it seems this game relies on an old version of EAC that uses Epic Online Services which expects an older version of glibc than I have, which I can not fix.
If you have this issue, installing steam through flatpak may fix this, as it supplies it's own version of glibc, which apparently works.

Around 75% of the time, it crashes my entire PC on starting the game. Sometimes it launches, and when it does, it works mostly fine, with decent performance.
If I set texture quality to HIGH, it begins memory leaking in my VRAM until it crashes. Setting texture quality to MEDIUM seems to slow this enough that I can play for hours without issue, when the game manages to start successfully.
Aside from having to restart my PC over and over to get it to launch, I have been banned for 24 hours by denuvo because it would only start in proton experimental and it keeps getting updated between my attempts to launch the game, counting against the number of machines denuvo thinks I'm running the game on. It seems to run fine on mesa 25.0.1 for me (I will use mesa git when the mesa gitlab migration ends) but getting it to launch is a nightmare and if it fails too many times, denuvo bans me from trying for 24 hours. It may be better to wait around a week for updates to make things more stable, or for mesa-git to be available again, unless you can get it elsewhere on your distro.
The game ran well out of the box, great performance and aside from the spirit box not working, it seems to run perfectly!
No voice recognition (requires Cortana on Windows).
Runs very well!
The game runs much worse on DX12 mode on linux than on windows, but runs very well on DX11 mode.

Launching in DX9 mode performs significantly better.
Works well out-of-the-box!
Story works perfect once set to run on Vulkan, online seems to have worse performance, but still playable.
Runs decently well out of the box!
Instantly crashes on attempting to host multiplayer lobbies. Joining someone else's lobby and playing online that way works, though!
Unplayable due to a known bug
A known bug prevents some systems from getting past the character select screen. I have tried everything I can think of or find online, the official forum has this exact issue (kicked on selecting a character due to "disconnected") listed as known for over a month with (currently) no fix.
To start the game, you need to enable the steam beta "Temporary Launcher Workaround" under the game's properties on steam.
The game keeps trying to exit fullscreen mode.
It runs suprisingly well, only slight stuttering every few minutes.
If not hosting, the game crashes after around 2 minutes. If hosting, the game crashes after around 3 - 5 minutes.
Frequent crashing when not hosting. Less frequent (but still too frequent to finish a level) when hosting.
