A one pixel white border around the screen, but this is an artifact of the game and not linux.
Every so often my game drops FPS after a mission. I usually close the game and relaunch and all is fixed.
This game runs really well. You do need the --use-d3d11, though. No way around it. The thin white pixel border is nothing when you're in the game. I never notice it.
The "Learn to Play" caused a game crash, but all subsequent play went totally fine.
This game ran OoTB. The ONLY tinkering I did was forcing proton experimental. I do this with all of my games and have never had issues.
If you are looking to play this game on Arch, it launches perfectly and plays just as well.
• If you are going to try XESS, makes sure your computer can handle it or you will always crash on launch and have to manually change the settings in the config file.
• This is not a problem from running on linux but a common problem for this game in general.
• During the occasional horde, hard slowdowns and crashes ocurred. I am not running a potato by any means so this was surprising.
This game occasionally hangs on a black screen before the initial load into the Mourning Star. If this happens just exit the game and restart. It only happens to me on first boot and nnot during gameplay.
If you are planning on changing the settings, make sure you know what they do before changing them as this may cause unintended crashes.
