SKIPINTRO
Was crashing so had to SKIPINTRO on current Proton Experimental. Single Player runs well on AMD Radeon :)
Ran out of the box on current experimental :)
Installed and tutorial ran fine. Switched Windows OK and extended in game graphics to Wide Screen no problems. Running on Atari VCS with 16GB, 2GB Video RAM allocated.
Tutorial Ran fine out of the Box. Atari VCS using 16GB RAM, 2GB Video Allocated
Running slow on an Atari VCS 16GB RAM 2GB Video Allocated. I expect it's fine on Higher End AMD Radeon / Ryzen Hardware.
Also had to do the same as Siosm suggested for the overall Linux report:
- Launch the game once, you'll get a black screen
- Force close it / it might crash
- Get into Desktop mode and navigate to your Steam library
- Select the game and choose: Manage > Browes local files
- Edit the "options.ini" file under Graphics and set: ''Driver = DirectX"
- Go back into Gaming mode and launch the game
My Atari VCS is a low end PC so set all graphics to Low and it runs :)
Just ran through some tutorials and set all graphics options to low and it seems to run OK
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Fails to start and crashes on occasion
Used Tasman's recommended launch options. Tutorials dont work but Normal Campaigns do. Random crash and start fails.
Ran fine in Proton 7.0.4 and current Experimental, Proton 8.0.2 crashed on exit to desktop
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 %command%
Added launch options as recommened by fq and ran Tutorial Fine. Runniung Atari VCS with 16GB 2GB Video RAM allocated.
