I had to map the mouse on the right trackpad, other than that, everything worked fine.
Installed MW3, did not edit any config files, started the Single Player version and the game just crashes aka steam shows I am in game and then shows I am not. And that is it
Installed the game and played, everything works perfect. I played 4H without stop and there were no problems.
I did have to add some launch option in order to make it work: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -width 1920 -height 1080 -nomemrestrict -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -availablevidmem 8192 -noprecache -novblank
Other that that it worked ok.
I am not sure if is actually the game bad optimization or proton to be honest, but given my hardware I could only play it on Medium settings with textures on High
I did add this start options: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -width 1920 -height 1080 -nomemrestrict -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -availablevidmem 8192 -noprecache -novblank
The only bug I saw was the fact that button type was missing from in game tooltips, you had to guess what button you have to press.
I've set it to 30fps
I had to manually map the sprint, crouch and reload buttons to the controller
Overall a nice game and works nice on steam deck
For StramDeck make sure you set the graphics to low AND fsr disabled.
It hapens sometimes during races. Not for every race but just randomly.
It crashes if not set to low setings. Setting to low seting WITH fsr off works perfectly but sometimes it crashes. It's random, sometimes I play 1-2h strait no problems and sometimes after 15min I get acrash
I realy enjoy the game on Deck. Have not tried yet multy player.
Instals, Opens Origin, I imput my details, it starts the game and I just see a black screen
I locked the FPS at 30 and the fan very rarely is audible.
This game has an awsome story. Works great on Deck. Definitely try it out.
This game was designed for mouse input. Playing from deck in my opinion is not an enjoyable experience.
I have jumped right in a save game that I had from my PC. The game works fine, maybe the UI is a bit small but you can play it no problem. All high graphics stable 30FPS on campaign map, but I did not test the battle.
The only problem I can think of is that on a such a small screen, the big campaing maps is a bit of work to navigate from one corner to another but if you can pass that the game is very much playable.
I did disable the gyro, but other than that I left everythig as is. Battery is around 2h of gameplay.
Installed Rome and played. The audio is a bit laggy sometimes and I sometimes I would have a crash here and then(after some hours of play) but other than that it worked. Also I would mention that I could not play naval battles
