The launch option for starting the game with DX12 has been changed. It is now "-anticheat_settings=SettingsDX12.json".
Game crashes entire system if run on a kernel with DS5 support, and attempting to use a DS5 controller
Rolled back to a pre-5.12 kernel, before the DualSense 5 driver was included. With a 5.12+ kernel, entire system crashes on game startup if a DS5 is connected, or when a DS5 becomes connected.
When using a kernel version with DualSense 5 controller support, game will only run when no such controller is connected, either by bluetooth or USB cable.
Run command "protontricks 47780 msxml6" to install a dependency needed for activation using the CD key.
Without this fix you will get the "OLE error 8000FFFF" reported by others.
Game runs, but intro video and in-game tapes do not play

Entirely playable, occasional freezes/stutters that recover without crash.
Game freezes for a couple seconds every now and then, recovers without crash.
Seems that the cutscene triggered when the Count introduces the four lords does not work. Game simply skipped it for me.
Works without any significant issue.
Crashes sometimes during autosave, this seems to only happen if you build something right as the autosave triggers.
I am using Proton-6.20-GE-1 to get video cutscenes working, and I had to DISABLE MANGOHUD to avoid crashes.
Using steam proton or proton-GE, both come with VERY frequent crashes during loading screens. It actually seems to be steam that crashes, the game then follows at the next loading screen, by freezing. To recover, the game process has to be killed and steam restarted. Fortunately auto-save functions reliably and no progress gets lost from the occurrence.
The crashes are somehow related to MangoHUD. Removing the global environment variable that I was using to enable it for all games, and not using it with Subverse, allowed the game to become stable for me.
