I can move my mouse or controller sticks around but can't un-grab anything; I'm stuck on the rock. Tried restarting the game and different versions of Proton, no luck.
Had to disable Steam Input (gamepad) to be able to grab and ungrab things in the game, it was messing with the controls
Totally borked, won't start up or show anything
Runs great, a few crashy bugs you need to be aware of
Minimizing the game while in FULLSCREEN mode sometimes crashes the game and Wayland on Arch Linux for me, I play in Windowed Borderless to avoid this when I need to multitask.
Half the time starting the game freezes on the very first loading bar screen, needs to be stopped by Steam and restarted a couple times

Only issue is it doesn't seem to automatically detect your Steam nickname for your player in Multiplayer, so you have to manually replace its default "steamuser" to what you want each time you join. Very minor inconvenience, though.

Rockstar recently borked GTA in a big way with the BattlEye anticheat, but you can get it working now by making sure you install "Proton BattlEye Runtime" in Steam and then specify it's path in GTA's launch options (specified above).
To get coop campaign to work without disconnecting error codes, grabbed dll files from a Windows install and replaced the dlls in steam's compatdata for Halo MCC: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/11dftq1/fix_halo_mcc_coop_between_windows_and_linuxsteam/

Had to manually set the aspect ratio to ultra-wide for my ultrawide monitor, but this may also be a stipulation in Windows as well
Beautiful graphics and smooth framerates, no issues here!
Needed to be on latest NVIDIA driver, though (currently 535), would not run on version 470

May even run better than your PC on Windows! I may crash once in a blue moon, but that could just be the game, at least you can re-join your crew's game asap.
The demo runs perfectly
Was only able to test the demo, but that ran great so I expect the full release to as well!
