no stutter or disconnects
I had to download apex-legends-cache from github and place it into my install folder. I also had to go to steam library and search for proton easyanticheat runtime and install that so apex doesnt kick you for no anti cheat running. Otherwise i am surprised to say it worked really well.

The game doesnt load properly unless you use Proton Experimental, otherwise it sits on a black screen forever.

I have had zero problems, started a fresh game to make sure video cutscenes play correctly which the do, also saving and loading is working.
