Runs well with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1. Otherwise, it suffers from random slowdowns.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 fixes invisible gun and greatly improves performance. Game is slightly slower than on windows and fully playable with my system on Ultra with 150% resolution scaling. For Vulkan-Less GPUs PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 may work, but it disables HDR rendering, making game darker and game is only just playable.
Game enjoyment will depend on user screen resolution.
With fullscreen, only 1/4 of the game is shown, so it requires windowed mode. Depending on resolution, this might be a dealbreaker, as the screen size is fixed and not very large.
This game runs much slower than in Windows, particulary without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1. With it HDR rendering is disabled, making overall game darker and it's still slower and drops below 60 FPS on low settings with those specs. With PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 is just as slow as without PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 and have graphic corruption with blood decals. PROTON_NO_ESYNC is recommended, as it increase responsibility of clicking a mouse in menus.
Game crashes at 1280x960 resolution and it doesn't support widescreen at all. In-Game, most objects are untextured.
Requires PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 to even launch to game instead of a black screen with music. There is no transparency around vegetation, so they have black or beige boxes around them. Car reflections are also disabled. PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 improves performance and makes game brighter, but it disables skybox, making it pure white. Performance seems fine with lower settings.
Works normally with graphic set to Simple or Fastest. Higher levels have flashing shadows and blurry text.
Actually feels like game found in repository. Capped at 33 FPS (also on Windows).
Steam doesn't download any files
After "install" it will complain, and rightfuly so, about missing executable.
Technically runs out of the box, but you have to fix shadow rendering bugs with this (it also happens on Windows) https://steamcommunity.com/app/6880/discussions/0/630802344682228444/ It's also recommended to enable widescreen resolutions with this https://steamcommunity.com/app/6880/discussions/0/343787283749706779/
Still crashes with newest Proton
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at Lemma.Main.ResizeViewport (System.Int32 width, System.Int32 height, System.Boolean fullscreen, System.Boolean borderless, System.Boolean applyChanges) [0x001e5] in :0 at Lemma.Main..ctor (System.Int32 monitor, System.Boolean vr) [0x00da7] in :0 at Lemma.Program.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00089] in :0
With updated Proton it runs out of the box. 60 FPS cap so I couldn't test performance but it stays there all the time. Recommended to Enable V-sync in game to prevent tearing (also happens on Windows)
Seems to run out of the box, however, when you Alt-Tab mouse movement have serious acceleration. This require restarting the game to fix.
With updated Proton it runs out of the box. 60 FPS cap so I couldn't test performance but it stays there all the time.
Unreal Engine 1 game but only with DirectX 8 renderer. Can run slower than on Windows. Some issues with fog rendering, rendering some objects lit through it, while other are rendered correctly. Also on some levels, the sky is corrupted. Recommended to cap FPS to <240 to prevent speed issues (also on Windows).

Runs out of the box. Game doesn't support widescreen resolutions at all.
Runs out of the box. It's recommended to enable V-Sync in game to prevent screen flashing or disappearing Steam FPS counter.
Cannot initialize windows media video playback. Please, reinstall game.
Same issue as previous report with newest Proton. At least unlike Windows 7+, tire animation works.
Slideshow performance, like previous report. However, unlike Windows 7+ tank belts are rendered correctly.
Game runs in 640x360 window and you can't change your settings. Any changes are ignored. There is weird flickering.
Fog is missing, resulting in object popping. Game runs about 30 FPS with some dips. Not that due to old engine the game runs under Windows much faster, unless you are using DgVoodoo2. Do not select RGB rendering, there are even more graphic issues.
Doesn't work either with DXVK or WineD3D
When launching with DXVK, this error message shows: No Label

With WineD3D shows blank window at top left.
Requires editing config for widescreen resolutions. Camera can turn randomly as you shoot.
Small window appears at top left of the screen and then exits
Requires custom xlive.dll to do anything. With it, shows black screen with white rectangle and then crashes. WineD3D, esync does nothing.
I wanted to test GameGuru DirectX 11 game. However, this game is hardly playable on my specs due to low framerate, regardless of operating system and invisible zombies. Avoid this game, Linux or not.
The game will start with part of the screen missing. You have to create a name, navigate to the graphic menu and set windowed mode. Then it runs well. Game doesn't like fullscreen mode.
