A bit low framerate, I got around ~50 FPS average with 40 min.
You maybe need to start the game multiple time in Steam, so that Ubisoft Connect (UPlay) runs the game. Also disable the Ingame-Overlay.
The Game got stuck every time after the intro sequence
I tried with latest Version of Proton-GE and Proton-Experimental. With Proton-Experimental my XBOX One Controller was not recognized.
Some frame rate drops but overall very playable.

If you just start into the game right away, you have ~10 FPS and the game is basically unplayable. I recommend the "middle" Graphics Settings, since this performance issue seems to be caused by Texture-Details on High or better. IMPORTANT: To accept the graphic settings, you need to press the accept button in the Screen-Options (where you can set the resolution, brightness, etc.) and may restart the game once or twice. Still not very sure how this works.
Performance not optimal, some crashes on my system.
Popping out of some textures near the player character.
Low framerate, maybe because of the early access state of the game.
Some Crashes (~2 in 5 hours playtime). I don't know, if it is from Proton, or the game is just unstable.
I have to use Proton 5.x. on 6.x the game only runs in low-end graphics mode on my system (out of graphic-memory error in normal mode).
