honestly this game is well optimized out of the box to run on steam deck, the game uses 5 watts so you get plenty of hours out of one charge
play it with keyboard and mouse
mouse and keyboard work great but when I plugged my switch pro controller it was way out of sync when aiming around, maybe I need to fix the speed they move
every now and then the game fps drops, maybe while loading new shadders?
if you get to fix controller drift it will be a good experience
Graphics seem a bit off, im doing ultra and the game looks like way lower quality than that
Easy Anticheat
game installs and runs but whenever you join a game the easy anticheat window appears
bought this game 2 years ago on launch and I'm happy to play it once again in my favorite linux distro
you have to install "Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime" from your software library.

Cutscenes lag and are out of sync
I hope they fix the issues asap, cause this choppy gameplay really kills the experience

some textures take time to load
after a long month the game is fully playable, I haven't tried removing launch commands or any other version of proton, maybe once i finish my run of the game i'll try without "tricks" but for now all first day issues like game crashing, cinematics out of sync and fps drop have been fixed

sometimes the fishbowl loads as a black square

I finished the game with Linux and had a great experience
works great out of the box
probably one of the most beautiful windows games you can play on linux

when playing story mode sometimes after a match is done you get a blackscreen and audio can still be heard but nothing can be done other than restarting the game
online is broken for windows as well but local works great
get an arcade stick to play it
