The inability to assign controls to side mouse buttons. Unsure if this is a game issue or Proton issue. I remember being able to use those buttons on an earlier version on Windows though.
Crashes constantly on 6.3-8, 7.0-1 and Proton Experimental.
Worked perfectly without having to change any settings.
I've had no graphics issues or audio crackling issues when using Proton 7.0-1 and the latest Proton Experimental version. Cutscenes play just fine and the performance is about the same as playing on Windows.
No issues at all when playing the game.
For some reason if you try to install it normally it will download nothing. I think it's trying to download a Linux version that doesn't exist??? You will need to right click the game, click on properties, click on compatibility and select force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool. After that the game will download the Windows version as it should. So far I haven't seen any issues after that.
The game has worked so far without any crashes. Small amounts of stuttering can still occur when moving between different map areas.
No problems except for when Windows Spatial Audio is turned on. If you have crackling sound make sure it's turned off.
All windowing options work but exclusive fullscreen has issues with Alt-Tabbing back into the game. The window either doesn't come back or comes back with a black screen. Alt-Tabbing multiple times can get it to display correctly again. Use borderless windowed if you have issues.
Stuttering has been reduced to almost none with Proton 7.0-1 and the latest Proton Experimental version! Proton 6.3-8 would heavily stutter any time the camera would pan. Now there is only light stuttering when moving between different map areas or entering and exiting a cutscene.
Quickly adjusting the resolution slider can cause the frame rate to drop down to 1-2 FPS and it will stay like that. If this happens to you then change the graphics quality setting to something else. This always fixes it for me.
