The cutscene audio can sometimes be out of sync with the video.
None of the cutscenes work without running two Media Foundation Workarounds for Wine. https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-installcab Once done, the game runs decently except when entering or saving games which drops the framerate for about 10 seconds.

How To Get Red Alert 3 to Work On Linux Using Steam Proton (Graphics and Game Loading Fix)
A easy to follow guide on how to get Red Alert 3 working on Linux using Steam Proton.
Step 1 -- Slow initial game loading.
To resolve the very slow loading (4 minutes) of the initial game, enter the following into your host file - 127.0.0.1 files.ea.com.
This can be found in Root / etc / hosts
Apparently the game tries to connect to a now defunct EA server and waits until it times out until it loads the game, so this IP Address will bypass this.
Step 2 -- Graphical Options
By default the game will launch with a resolution of 800 x 600, so change this match your resolution.
Secondly choose your required graphic level, but make sure to disable antialiasing or you will see black articles on the screen.
Once the steps are done, have fun playing Red Alert 3.
