SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windows %command%
You need to set launch options SDL_VIDEODRIVER=windows %command%
before it will run.

Nope, not worky no mo
Feels bad... Tried multiple proton versions including GE, 8, 7, 6, 5. None work with error of "Failed to Initilise 3D Engine
crashes before starting
launch options, different proton versions
On Proton Versions 6 and before game crashes immediatly, whitescreen from Proton 7 onwards
Tried different Proton versions and GE, as well as disablying ESYNC, FSYNC and certain D3D Versions
Whitescreens on main menu in Proton 7 and GE, crashes immediatly on Proton 6 and before. No obvious errors in Log output. Tried disabling ESYNC, FSYNC and certain D3D versions, nothing worked.

A very smooth experience, even better than Windows!
My lapotp is a potato and this game always felt laggy on Windows. On Xubuntu however it runs butter smooth without any problems.
On screen keyboard requires manual invocation.
Opening one type of menu just didn't open (applied the background but nothing rendered) - unsure if this is because of steamdeck
Runs flawlessly out of the box.

Had to drop down to Proton 6.3-8. More recent Proton versions will run the game, but many dialog boxes cannot be closed and some important buttons do not respond.
Taps on certain buttons aren't registered. Multiple tries are necessary to get them to work.
Game crashes when I click play. Tried the AUR version of gloriouseggroll, proton experimental [bleeding-edge], proton 7.0-1/6.3-8/5.13-6.
This used to work so something changed either in recent game updates or recent wine updates.
Works decently well, though bit buggy with deeper menus. I've only played it for 1 hour before writing this report, though
often can't click into menus when they're deeply nested
Didn't work with Proton Experimental, 7.0-1, 6.3-8 or 5.13-6. Only worked when I used Proton GE (the one available from the AUR)

Works fine with Proton 6.3-8. I reported before that it didn't but rebooting fixed that problem.
The game window/top-bar gets pushed off-screen and cut off when focusing another window (e.g. on another screen or by alt-tabbing) so moving the game window back down just shows the desktop instead of the missing part of the game screen.
Don't play this game if you plan on interacting with any other software at the same time
Immediately quits with Proton Experimental, 6.3-8, 5.13-6 and 5.0-10

Runs very well though occasionally crashes
Crashes occasionally on new years. The game seems to auto save right before so I've never lost progress
Running really well. No issues
Installed but did not launch using Proton Experimental, 6.3-6, or 5.13-6.
Runs fine out of the box
Played with Proton 5.13-6, works fine!
Doesn't launch with SteamPlay, unstable with Proton 5.0.
Games works perfectly.

Fullscreen mode works perfectly as expected.
Impossible to disable fullscreen mode, but fullscreen mode is escapable by invoking the activity menu using typical shortcuts.
Works well enough, issues are not specific to Linux
Can use Alt+Enter to switch to windowed as a workaround but behaves strangely.
Mouse is caught in window bounds even when tabbed out.
Ran flawlessly out of the box.

Works pretty good
Disabling fullscreen restarts the game with it re-enabled. You can mouse out, but the game keeps "always on top" enabled, so tabbing to other things on the same monitor is a little annoying.
