As long as you don't use TFAR, this requires no tinkering
Cursor escapes when fullscreened, can be fixed by switching to windowed fullscreen
Played with TFAR, and a moderate modlist (~30 mods), everything worked fine, but TFAR needs extra setup which can be found in this guide: https://youtu.be/L1Uhaq7YHCM
- Be patient with the launcher, as it may take it a couple minutes to start up
- If you want to import profiles, just place them in the documents folder for steamuser in compatdata
Runs fairly well, with a major caveat being missing cinematics.
Mostly, the game ran fine, however during some dialogues the game had noticeable frame drops, which were gone as soon as I finished talking to the NPC.
Missing cinematics, e.g. the prologue scene after exiting The Bite or the cab rides.
Crash after loading into the menu

Game prompts the user to install MS Visual C++ on every launch. After installation the game launches, and works fine up until it hits the main menu where it hard crashes (every second launch you're forced to uninstall MS Visual C++, as without the installer finishing, the game will close itself).

Works out of the box
Getting a max of ~65 FPS on high (capped to 120, screen resolution is 2560x1440), with significant drops to ~30 fps in cities, alongside rare stutters
Set Vulkan version to be used by default in Game Properties
On first launch use the following launch arguments to install the Ubisoft launcher:
echo "%command%" | sed 's/GRB_vulkan.exe/UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe/' | sh
Log into you Ubisoft account
After you log in, you may get an "app is running" error in Steam, ignore it error and close the app via "Stop" in Steam
- Remove the launch arguments and launch the game again
- Without tinkering, the game will error out, saying that Ubisoft Connect is not installed
- Coop works great (haven't tested Ghost War (PVP mode))
Works out of the box
Recommend enabling Steam Input if using a DualSense controller to enable rumble
Played through both raids (Dark Hours, Iron Horse), had no real issues

When launching the game, the "Building shader cache" step, it may freeze, this requires a restart. Additionally changing graphical options cause the game to freeze, requiring a restart.
Crashes after compiling shaders
mangohud %command%
As the title states. Before the launch, the game installs some epic games services (which may fail to install on the first try), then loads up EAC, and launches. After launch, it shows an epilepsy warning (may crash during this), then the logos, leading into shader pre-compilation, and the game loading (both seem to be stable), after all of that the title drops, and seems to be a guaranteed crash regardless of Proton version.
