So long as you're happy to put the graphics settings down to minimum, this is definitely playable.
Lowered graphics settings to minimum
I had to lower the graphics settings to minimum to get the game to a playable state.
Alt tabbing doesn't release the mouse.
Jittery and laggy, especially when moving the camera around rapidly.
Switching to Windows and then back to Fullscreen fixed it
I previously reported major performance issues (especially when rotating the camera) using driver 440.31. As a result, I manually upgraded to 440.44 and the game now runs better than it did on Windows 10!
It crashes so fast it is unplayable.
It crashed within a few seconds of starting a random game.
Open a terminal and cd ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Loop\ Hero/ to find it
sudo pacman -Syu openssl-1.1 yay install -Syu libldap24
The stuttering was too much for me.
The initial resolution was set to something tiny from the 90s with no option to change it in the menu. Going into the config files for the game allowed me to change this to 1080p, which resolved this issue.
Stuttering, even with ESYNC disabled via launch options.
If you can deal with the stuttering, it works great. I just couldn't.
If you're OK with some lag and some minor screen tearing, it's still a lot of fun.
Tearing, with and without V-Sync. I tried adaptive, on and off and have a G-Sync 144Hz monitor.
Still playable but much much slower than on Windows. I got a lot of lag when there were many things going on in a way that I don't on Windows.
