To launch it, add these launch options (without ""): "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 gnome-terminal %command%"
Replace the gnome-terminal with:
- gnome-terminal (for GNOME or Cinnamon based systems)
- konsole (for KDE systems) or probably any terminal emulator will work, but it needs a terminal open to keep it up and running

As for stability and what not, probably yes. Just be careful with alt tabbing.

Fullscreen would cause the game to stutter a bit. Changing it to Windowed or Borderless fixes it.

The mouse, maybe by alt tabbing, might start flickering for a bit, making you to no longer able to use it in game (looking around or even to navigate through menus).
