I haven't gotten incredibly far into the game yet, but it seems to be working with no issues as of now.
Tinker Steps:Set launch options
gamemoderun %command%
For some reason the game did not allow me to connect after my first launch blocking me at the EULA accept/decline notification. Restarting it with gamemoderun worked fine.
