It says here that I was tinkering by switching to Proton Experimental, but I disagree.
Native Arma 3 runs on old version and doesn't have launcher so you can't really play with mods. However, if you install Arma via proton, you can play on last version with all the mods (except ACE). Here is awesome guide on how to run it: https://youtu.be/swJPic2eKGA
Native COH2 doesn't support crossplatform multiplayer, but proton version does. 4.2.5 proton didn't let me play the game after spring update, but 3.16-9 works fine after disabling esync. Annoying bug with audio is still present.
Launcher doesn't work! Move bin/evilgenius_vulkan.exe to Launcher/eg2.exe

The game runs perfectly well, right out of the box. I bought it, installed, clicked play and it got me sucked in for six hours straight.
Developers don't disclose which anticheat they use
Generally, game doesn't work. It can launch, you can reach main menu and start the game, but after some time GPU will fail horribly and you will have to restart your PC. Generally, on 1 successful launch of the game you have to restart it 10 times, because it will give you black screen with background audio, or heavy visual artifacts. mf-install also didn't help me with that game, so I had to install it on windows..
Game uses proton 3.7 for some reason and there is a problem with fullscreen mode. Using proton 3.16 I faced no issues after 2+ hours of gameplay.
Only TINKERING I did - forced Proton Experimental and used Vulkan
Problem with EAC is now fixed and the game is playable! But, you have to add launc option "cd ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/"Rising Storm 2"/Binaries/Win64; %command%" to start it. It will display error in launcher, but the game will work as expected.
Native doesn't work for me. However, Steam Play on 4.2.4 Proton works perfectly out of the box.
Game had troubles with shaders, was crashing and dropping frames. Running

Fixed all the issues, and made it more than playable.
Played with friends that are on windows. Played both Last Stand and standart battles - had no issues
For me, worked only after protontricks command
