It is fully playable (better than on Windows from my experience), the glitches are mildly irritating but bearable
There were like 3 or so situations where audio was playing twice. Very, very minor issue
Occasionally things would show up on top of each other (think like an object should be behind a barrel and obstructed by it but instead the object is obstructing the barrel). Some animations don't play properly.
I can't say whether the glitches are due to being on Linux or just the game being poorly programmed
Game doesnt start with regular proton (a popup requesting the CD appears). GE works fine
Installed the GOG version of the game from Heroic Games Launcher. Using regular proton the game wouldn´t start, and a window appeared asking for the CD. Using proton GE the game started up fine and I was able to play. However the PC version of the game has horrible keybindings, and it didn't seem to register the controls of the deck with the gamepad template, so I used a community layout to remap the keyboard controls to the deck. Game worked flawlessly after that.

Could hear cutscenes but not see them. Editing the start.bat file to add -gl at the end of the monkey4.exe command fixed this.
By default, I had no video and only audio on most cutscenes, apparently a common problem even on Windows.
Runs from gaming mode only, crashes if run from desktop. I suspect the issue is something to do with desktop mode failing to report the resolution EFMI expects to run it (the Steam deck reports very weird resolutions to games in desktop mode, something something screen orientation)
Game can be started via "Configuration Tool", but no input possible
When starting directly, only black screen is shown with "LucasLib Assertion failed" dialog in the background. Selecting any option there (cancel, try again, ignore) doesn't change the situation.
The configuration tool does start, but crashed when selecting configuration options. Using this to start the game works, no mouse inputs work. I was only to able to press Esc and then Y to exit the game. Also the game audio shortly stops and gets choppy, everytime a mouse button is pressed.
Black screen only, configuration tool crashes.
Game doesn't start, only shows black screen and dialog with "LucasLib Assertion Failed". No matter which option (cancel, try again, ignore) is selected there, the problem still persists.
The configuration tool does start, but crashed when opening the configuration.
OOTB no issues.
Works well.
Played through the whole game. It worked fine.
The shadows don't render properly; not really a problem.
The game is fully playable (i finished it). But i got a couple of crashes, so save often!
A couple of crashes (shut down of the game while playing)
Perfect
Starts out of the box and runs flawIessly. I wouldn't configure the default keyboard setting; it seemed to cause minor anomalies. This game is probably best played with gamepad anyhow!
No tweaks required; it boots up and runs flawlessly
Runs perfectly. Proton/SteamPlay also corrects an issue I've experienced running the same game through Wine (3.12) wherein the display remains stuck at a very low resolution after exiting.
