If you find people, you can play.
Default Proton didn't work.
Installs and runs just as easily as it would on Windows 10/11. I played before I switched to Linux and it looks/runs the same
Great game, a lot of fun with friends, don't let the queue times deter you, you can do many things to pass the time while you wait.
It may take a bit to get into a match but this is unrelated to proton but once you get into a game, works perfectly.
Online experience is just as enjoyable as it would be on Windows. Until Dead by Daylight arrives to the scene, this is a great alternative!

I was able to run it out of the box on a fresh wine prefix and with default proton 7.0-3.
This game is great! Linux makes no difference! It is just as enjoyable, and it's great to see another game works straight out of the box.
Game would not launch with either regular proton 7.0-4 or proton GE I tried versions 7-10, 7-28 and 7-30.
I even tryed custom proton tkg-experimental build 20220826. All to no avail.
Couldnt even open the game. I tried both experimental proton and glorious eggroll.
lastest Glibc broke EAC for me(could not load EAC), had to use modified Glibc https://github.com/Frogging-Family/glibc-eac/releases install both 64 and 32bit versions
Perfect experience
40HZ-40fps
Long queue times for teens are normal at the time of this writing. Nothing to do with Proton
I think graphics are set to ultra by default. Lower them to "Medium" or worse if you want decent fps (30-40)
This game has potential.
Sometimes the audio cracks a little, but overall its fine after I switched audio devices in settings and played a bit more.
I tried to use ProtonGE, but it crashed after the start up screen, while in that screen, it also made a really loud painful buggy noise...for some reason. So I've sticked to regular 7.0-3 version.
Not related to Proton or GNU/Linux but the queue can be really long as a teen player.
I would say, you can play it as a better replacement to Dead By Daylight (By that I mean that dbd devs still haven't enabled EAC support for Linux)

Game uses all 4 GB of VRAM in match. Can only run at low settings with 40 FPS and semi-regular stutters
Voice chat does not work
Game is fun, even though queue times are long. I suspect users with better specs won't run into these issues. Plus, the game is free!
1440p, Ultra settings.
In match fps around 110, in menu fps 80-ish, in the loadout/costumize viewing models/cosmetics around 45fps.
Rmemeber to check your region before play, it defaulted to US for me.
Resolution 1440p, less fps in menu, then in a match, but had the same on Windows in last beta, settings on Ultra average around 100fps, no stutter. Just remeber to go into options, my game defaulted to US as my region for some reason, when im in Europe.
At first, game was really laggy but after playing for 10-15 minutes, lag has mainly disappeared.
It works great, though you will have to lower your graphics settings even if you're on good hardware to avoid lagging and stuttering
Voice input does not function
Voice chat doesn't work so the best experience will be playing with friends in a discord call
Worked out of the box,, didn't need Flatpak.
Set overall grahpic on High instead of Ultra to get constant fps, but had to do the same on last beta on this machine with Windows on it, no stuttering in matches.
You may need to downgrade graphics quality to avoid lag issues; this significantly helped for me.
The game is a bit laggy even with the lowest graphics settings. I have a windows laptop with similar hardware specs that does not have this problem. Also, I experience disconnects from the game server fairly frequently upon start-up ofa match, which does not happen on my windows laptop.
The game is noticeably more laggy than on a windows laptop with similar hardware specs.
Although the game starts without any explicit tinkering, but when you try to join a match, you get booted every time upon start of the match when you run with Steam settings out of the box. Until I explicitly forced the launcher to use Proton 7.02, I could not successfully start any match without being booted out (this happened approximately 10 times in a row). When forcing the launcher to use Proton 7.02, I would no longer get booted upon match start.
Newest update enables the game being playable from Steam Native client. Works perfectly!
Missing textures in loading screens; in-game is fine.
Game will often stutter and drop significantly in framerate during fights.
No Steam overlay.
Great Performance, Requires Flatpak Version of Steam
You must use the Flatpak version of Steam in-order to launch the game, outside of that it has no problems.
Works on deck OOTB excellent game!

Use the steam client from flatpak, is the same that use the steamdeck, it allows the game to run on Linux Desktop. No further changes are needed, just install and play the game. It works also with Proton Experimental, does not require to install proton-ge to launch and play the game.
EAC does not initialize on Native and Runtime Steam. Just install Flatpak and you can play.
Text small but intelligible

movies only work with ge-proton
EAC doesn't load.
The game ran like native during the closed beta, but they haven't yet enabled EAC support for Proton.
Failed to load the Anti-Cheat module
EAC will not intialize. Probably is not yet configured to work under Proton.
Hoping the devs will correct this issue during the beta.
