Runs good OOTB, played with a Valve Index.
minor flickering/artifacts in the loading screens.
Worked out of the box, using the legacy bindings, using the triggers to click on things in the menu. But turning around using the thumbsticks didn't work.
No issues once the controller binding is fixed
By default you can't click on things in the menu with the index controllers. To fix that just launch the game and then choose the custom controller binding by seba for linux, while the game is running. Otherwise you can't see the correct bindings for the game.
Load or create a working controller configuration WHILE the game is running. I will try and upload mine soon. You need: pointer click, teleport and pinch grip. Extend hand is also useful.
Loading screen flickers
The solution is to choice a custom bindings profile, created by another user specifically for Linux.
HTC Vive controllers appear in the game but can't select anything in the initial menu.
I'm using a Valve Index with the Index controllers. The game menu came up but nothing was clickable for me. I then created custom index controller bindings: Steam pointer click on trigger, extend hand on b and teleport on joystick. With this I was able to play (and complete) the game. Controller settings can be edited while the game is running, so it is easy to adjust everything while the prologue explains how to play the game.

Game installs and starts, but I can't press any buttons on the main menu.
The game installs and starts without any problems. When the main menu launches, I can see my controllers, and point to the different buttons (Start, Quit, ...), but I can't actually press them (no button on the controller works, and no button on the keyboard works).
I'm using Proton 5.0-10 and HTC Vive.
Runs perfectly, played with Valve Index
Knuckles are not recognized
Runs great on the valve index using proton
