Works after install, just like in Windows. No tinkering required. (9 Jan 2025)
Install and play!
works perfectly fine
Install and play, nothing else to do.
Tested with Proton 7.0-3 // all settings max // 2560x1440p@144hz
Works great on Steam Deck on last Proton Experimental (must still force Proton Experimental manually)
Forced to Proton Experimental, the video playback issue has been recently fixed and now it works pretty well. It has also quite good performances, runs at 60 fps at "high" settings
Missing cut scenes break the story
Cut scenes are not available, breaks story in my perspective
A black screen on start up (pressing Esc a few times solved that. Think it is related to video playback as cut scenes / ingame movies are also black screen but can hear audio while it plays. Can press and hold Enter key to skip.
Launches to Black Screen
Game launches to black screen and doesn't load. No combination of keys or controller input pushes it forward.
If only a black screen is visible during loading the game, press Enter three times.
Some minor freezes
Only training has been completed, multiplayer cannot be verified due to an unsuccessful search for players for more than 3 minutes.
Takes a minute to load but once open, runs perfectly.
Every now and my character would aim straight up for no reason, wasn't consistent at all though.
I only tested the tutorial, which ran pretty well. CPU was at ~60% and GPU at ~40%. Ran at lowest settings except AA (max) in 1440p.
Technical Beta Testing of the Game (28.01.2020): Black screen only without any sounds.
Used following launch option:
- PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
- PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
- PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
- PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%
Result is the same.
