The game runs flawlessly with the default steam proton
I got to the main Menu, but after that, the game just stopped recognizing my mouse and I wasn't able to move the cursor
I don't know if It's just on my end. But judging by the scarcety of reports on this app on proton, I wouldn't be suprised if other Linux users are having the same problem...
In Steam mode it will let me start singleplayer only. In Epic mode it never even starts. does nothing. Its the Epic store version.
the game felt native,i used 7-35 ge but i used experimental too and same results "perfect"

Runs very smooth and fine.
I experienced focus highlight issues in the start menu when using the game controller. I could select all entries, but sometime the "unhighlighting" of the current focus did not work. With mouse everything was fine. (Maybe on Windows there is the same issue?)
Plays Just Fine
My previous report was wrong because I was using a faulty GPU at the time.
Launching the Game Doesn't Work
Attempted to launch the game with Proton 5.0-9 and the game seemed to launch (I saw a blank spot open in my KDE notification tray) but then it closes quite short after before it even opens a window.
Running Protontricks to change the compatibility mode from Win10 to Win7 made no difference.
The game needs to use xaudio2_7 (using winecfg) in order to fix the crackling sound. The gameplay works fine with a good performance. It has an error message after closing the game that doesn't affect the game experience.
