vanilla start and run. Used trackpad and triggers. mapped magnifier to L4 but it wasn't needed.
With fullscreen at least, the window would go black once it lost focus.
Rarely, the automatic turn progression would not continue on the first turn after starting the game. UI remained mostly interactable, but game had to be forced to stop through Steam.
Everything plays smoothly out of the box
It just works flawlessly.
40 fps - 40 Hz
Played three hours, no problem, no slowdowns.
Didn't test multiplayer. Only played single player
Game won't advance past the story loading screens for single player. Weirdly, it will work when playing as a guest in multiplayer.
Playable, with occasional glitches
Sometimes gets stuck in the narration screens between quest locations. The app must be killed and reopened.
Uncommonly, online multiplayer will disconnect. When the players can resume, they will need to repeat from the start of an encounter location.
Can't even get past the loading screen
With standard Proton the menu can be viewed, but the game crashes during loading once a gamemode is selected. With GE the game already crashes during initial loading of the menu. Can't even alt-tab out of the game, but have to kill it through the command line. 100% unplayable.
Works very well. No issues. Start and exit looks a little bit slow.
I did not play multiplayer, bt only checked connection. That worked.
Load time seems a bit lengthy, but I don't think that has anything to do with Proton. Once loaded, the game seems to run flawlessly.
Works perfect except on exit.
No issues installing, launching, or running the game but it always hangs on exit. Tried this with two different distributions (Solus and Ubuntu 20.04) on similar hardware and experienced the same issue.
The game runs perfectly out of the box. I tested regular single player gameplay, various graphics options and deckbuilding. Didn't test multiplayer.
Black backgrounds while playing, map which contains quest selection also completely black.
Ran perfectly without tweaks. Only played single player.
Works like native.
Didn't run for me initially, but after following this link for Vulkan support for Linux Mint 19, it appears to work perfectly :)
How to get Vulkan support on older AMD GCN cards on Mint 19: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=272283
Game either crashes on launch, or will display as running in the steam client but the window does not appear.
Suspect could be due to AMD graphics card?
Game generally works good. When viewing cards you get a purple background. When enemies or characters have shields rotating around them they turn purple.
Works well enough - minor audio and game stuttering
