Runs natively
I was able to smash someone in multiplayer, was fun

The game has a native version but it gets stuck on a screen where you need to select which controls to use but the Steam Deck controller inputs are not recognized. I enabled Proton to use the Windows version and had no issues. I only tried Proton Experimental but older versions probably work as well.
Starts good
Played Native with Steam Linux Runtime
dropped refresh rate to 40 and it looks like the text reads better or has better clarity.
My style of game. I like busy shootem=ups similar to gridwars etc. Perfect for steam deck blast as the games are short (under 15 minutes) with my level of skills. Need some headphones as the music score is amazing but I need it louder so I don't annoy anyone.
You will need to run it with Proton GE, otherwise the music will not progress and the music is not running.

Native build doesn't launch. Works with Proton, but you can't load any custom songs, which is the game's primary feature.
Only built-in songs can be played
Works out of the box
Couldn't play the native version on Pop OS 19.10; it seems to crash immediately without getting as far as trying to load the game.
Was able to play when forcing the game to use ProtonDB 4.11-11 though :)

Had issues with the native version giving me choppy sound output. Everything works just fine except for controllers. It wouldn't let me configure my xbox360 controller.

Game runs perfectly through proton, the native version complains about alsa (which i don't use)

The native port of this game is somewhat shoddy, with resolution issues with multi-monitor setups, a 60 FPS cap, and track indexing issues. Running it in Proton eliminates all of these issues and everything seems to work as expected, however multiplayer was not tested.
