Switching to different workspace (or Alt-Tab) makes the the game unplayable.
The game will turn into a small window if it's unfocused, the only way to fix it is restarting the game.
Works fine out of the box, unfortunately i can't get the physics mod to work.
Tweak game setting like shown in this guide, otherwise it runs quite poorly ( this is a issue on windows as well ) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2374946734
Sometimes when tabbing out and back in the window gets really tiny. this needs a restart to fix it
See guide to fix these issues
Tabbing out in cutscenes crashes the game rather common
As long you do some tweaks and you dont tab out the game should work fine. but it does tend to crash when tabbing out or just make the fullscreen really tiny which also needs a restart to fix this issue.
After install error pops up, can't enter game.
Game runs fine on pop os 20 .04 LTS, with no errors.

running great, I showed in this video https://youtu.be/mOwLmVIAMYw
Game crashes every 5 minutes on Windows, works perfectly with Proton. Native performance as far as I can tell.
Disable Steam overlay
Can resume game after alt tab
controller must be plugged in before game is launched
The black boxes will ruin your gameplay

There are some flickering objects here and there during gameplay but other than that works perfectly.
I am using proton-4.11-5, vxdk and d9vk but after the two runs, one of difficulty of the game and then to earn money to buy the first car, the black squares appear again making the game impossible to play . I turned off antialiesing but the black squares still appeared.
Game running only on Proton-4.11-5, without black squares and in video settings I changed all settings to maximum except antialiasing, which I left at high, making the game run at maximum but without crashing
Retail version was tested. You need to use DXVK with D9VK (both latest versions). Intro and menu works, but no visual. No more black boxes appearing in gameplay (driving). If you would need more help with the black box bug, please consider to go on wine forum, on the following link to apply custom patch to your Wine: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26617 Big thanks for the developer teams behind Wine, D9VK, Proton and of course Steam!
