Perfect for flat screen
VR not yet tested, but as long as it runs natively, should be no problem

If you are planning to play with mods have a mouse around, a lot of them don't have controller support.
I don't know why, I think it has to do with the Steam Runtime, but it sometimes just wipes whatever I have saved and when you open the game it's like you have never opened it before. I make regular backups of my mod profiles and if something happens I just go to the Desktop mode and overwrite everything.
I believe, not quite sure, that this occurs when you open the game right after closing it. So if I want to restart I wait for 5-10 seconds. Make backups!
Steam Deck is a perfect device for this game. Really fun experience, works perfectly OOTB.
200 GPU, Half Rate Shading
Didn't actually test Multiplayer, but considering it just involves talking to someone over the phone/voice call. There is no reason to expect it not to work.
Same thing here. You'd be playing with a person IRL and they wouldn't be using the Deck, so it being on the Steam Deck should have 0 issue.
40 FPS, TDP 3W, GPU 300MHz
After touching screen game stops accepting controller input
No issues at all, a great experience
No problems at all
Even mods were working flawlessly!
Runs perfectly, no tinkering required
Works fine, i dont have VR to test it with
Since local multiplayer depends on your friends downloading a PDF manual it works flawlessly on any system.
With a monitor it works fine. My Oculus Rift only works on Windows so i'm unable to test VR mode on Linux, but on desktop is totally playable
Native Version is stuttery and has extreme frame tearing. Proton GE 7 runs as perfect as you can imagine.
Perfect with proton 6.3, no problems. Native version doesn't support VR nor gamepad.
Linux version doesn't support VR. Forced Proton and it worked great!
There's a native Linux version, but it doesn't support VR. If you force Proton, you can use VR. We played with HTC Vive and had zero problems with the game.
Proton version 5.13-4

Launches on Screen but not VR view with Valve Index
The native version does not launch a VR view with Valve Index. The menu is displayed on the normal screen, where you can change settings, but you are not able to start a game.
Runs great, including in VR on a Valve Index (native version does not start in VR).

Valve Index - Game doesn't load in VR mode at all
I believe the native version doesn't have VR support and the proton version wont run at all in VR mode.

Sometimes the game menu (the office) would be all black except the objects. Sometimes some text it's not readable because it's the same color as the background.
It seemed great at the start, but after a few bombs it would just crash every bomb after if finished.

It doesn't work native, does not even reach the menu. Also text glitches with proton versions 4.11-11 and 4.2-9. 3.16-9 smoothly worked for me.

After forcing Proton on this it works great in VR!
