Works OOTB, but the Audio is not good at all
Audio with PipeWire
The Graphics are statterin a lil
Try usin' the newest Pipewire-patch
Ran perfect, played from start to finish

taskset -c 1-8 %command%
Added this mod for 2k res and 60fps: https://github.com/Banz99/Final-Fantasy-Type-0-Hd-Unlocker
It's a lazy port so most of this tinkering would be necessary on windows too.

Colored Bars on some Cutscenes.
Launch fine and playable. But some cutscenes not worked. Can not exit game by default.

Some artifacts occasionally appear on enemy models when they're killed. Shadows are misshapen in some locations. Never impacts gameplay experience.
I've been getting 3-4 hours of battery life on default settings. Game is locked at 30fps but maintains stable framerate in all areas.

除了全螢幕有問題外,遊玩得很順暢
在全螢幕模式下,遊戲畫面會變小,出現在螢幕中央,而周圍會是白色的畫面

Set TDP to 10watts
Works fine on modern releases of GE-Proton! Some older version (like 7-14, recommended below) have minor issues, But GE-Proton8-13 seems fine, no audio issues, no sleep bugs, no freezing etc.
I'd recommend set the resolution to '800p', and the AA to 'normal' as the game supersamples on higher AA settings

TDP 10 watts (for better battery)
Had a weird sleep bug on the recommended Ge-Proton-7.14, but updated versions (like 8.13) seem to work just fine. No Audio stutter, No sleep bug no slowdown, 60fps hack works fine too! (just be aware this hack may break a chapter 3 boss, even on windows)

Had to go to GE7-10 to fix audio stuttering, then had to go to GE8-6 to enable japanese voices
Works great at max settings, just need to change GE proton and resolution to 1280x720p
10 W max usage
If you first launch the game on PC, the game will still default to the PC resolution. You have to manually change it to 1280 x 720 in order to get the game to run fluidly (though everything else can be at high settings), otherwise trying to run at high will cause major framerate issues.
If you play on PC first, it defaults to PC resolution. During the launch config screen you need to change it to 1280 x 720 or it will have massive slowdown. If set to 1280 x 720 you can run it on high settings.
I can't launch the game.
Launch windows is confusing to navigate
Some cutscenes were not playing using the default proton version. Changing to GE 7-14 fixed the issue
Launch window is hard to navigate
Missing cutscenes
The secondary launch windows is very clunky, I had to use R1 and L1 to navegate

The game seems to run stable now, cutscenes work without tinkering.
With the default settings the fullscreen didn't use all the available space. I changed the resolution below 1080p and started the game, closed the application and changed the resolution back to 1080p. Now all the space is used in fullscreen.
Must use this: https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
and this launch option to get it to work. taskset -c 1-8 %command%
works completely normal after.

Ran fine with GE Proton 5.9. Media Foundation fixes are now built in so no additional tweaks were needed.
5.9-GE-3-ST GloriousEggroll
Glorious Eggroll 5.9

Portion of the screen where toolbar sits would not be displayed until cinnamon was restarted
Hard video driver crash if cinnamon was restarted to fix toolbar bug at the bottom of screen BEFORE you loaded or started a new game and got to gameplay. Would crash right at the load screen. If you restarted cinnamon to get rid of the bug after you are able to control the characters then it doesn't crash that I know of, even after new loading screens.

It runs flawless if you use the aforementioned tweaks but ... crashes if you choose to use a Xbox 360 controller, a widespread and pretty common controller.

Works perfectly after you install the patch to add MF support (https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install)

The game runs flawless, you only need this tool called Media Foundation https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install It is easy to install, just place the prefix of the game and go.
PROTONTRICKS 340170 ./install-mf.sh
It's great

Require to install dotnet40 (protontricks 340170 dotnet40) and Media Foundation ddls (installation script can be found here : https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install). After that, the game seems to run flawlessly.

Fixing dotnet using protontricks seems to fix the launch issue (protontricks 340170 dotnet40). The launcher works but the game crash just after displaying the game logo (Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy).

Crash on startup, not even a black screen.

Still doesn't start at all

Clicked Play in the Steam client, and nothing happened

Couldn't get it to launch at all.

Doesn't start.

After the installation the game doesn't start

Click Play>Doesn't Start
