-d3d12 -ResX=1280 -ResY=720 -windowed
Works out of the box like a charm. No tinkering needed.
Although the game is strangley locked to 60. You'll have to add "DXVK_FRAME_RATE=# %command%" to up the limit and turn on vsync so it can reach that.
It runs fine so far
In the current patch the game runs fine, just make sure you have Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime installed. The only issue I've found is an in-game error message erroneously detecting the system as having single-channel memory, you just have to click Accept and you're good to go, but it pops up every time the game starts. Other than that the game crashed once in my playthrough, but I think it could happen on Windows as well.
Game works great, but I had to switch to some graphic options.
I guess if you're fine with the performance hit/have the hardware to brute force it or are willing to turn settings down further
Windowed mode is still full screen
Windows usually runs close to 60FPS with drops to 40s, Linux runs at 40 at most with frequent drops below 30, its playable but definitely less enjoyable
It works just performs worse, if you're willing to accept lower settings/FPS or have overkill hardware it might work well. Tried both Proton 9-0-3 and Experimental bleeding edge, both run exactly the same, with Experimental the menu for the first few minutes was frozen at 1FPS. Ingame performance is the same. Also with both, ray tracing option is completely grayed out. There is a error popup about single channel memory performance degradation when entering the initial menu. Tested at Medium preset with DLSS Balanced at 3440x1440.
Works as is
Enjoyable on SteamDeck!
Can be played out of the box through steam, graphic settings were auto set to low and 30fps
3050Ti Laptop GPU, medium ayarlarla neredeyse sorunsuz oynayabilir. 1080P Ray Tracing : Kapalı, Bloom vs kapalı.
run com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl --no-gui --no-sandbox "heroic://launch/legendary/e3306721e7c64f1cbf71235bcb260d53"
The only issues I had were minor, and matched that of Windows:
The game menus require you to use "Q" or "E" to switch tabs. It's clearly meant for a controller, without basic considerations for mice.
Also, the game is gracious enough to let you chose between 30FPS locked or 60FPS locked. You cannot play unlocked, or at a modern FPS. This is not Linux-specific, just annoying.
gamemoderun %command%
Game now works again with no additional changes made!
After today's update, everything worked. I run it without compatibility mode. EAC is working!
Game doesn't start due to EAC
Game is now completely unplayable thanks to an EAC update
EAC has made the game unplayable
EAC is not detected. Due to this the game will not get passed the splash screen.
Once I switched proton version I didn't have gamebreaking bugs that stopped me from progessing in the game.
The game froze a couple of times, which forced me to restart
-dx12
I added the -dx12 parameter, which gave me slightly nicer graphics and improved stability a bit. In case of problems with the videos, do not force Proton Experimental.
I can boot the game normally but when I load into the game I get a dark screen and no textures rendering it essentially unplayable.
In game text is hard to read at times
Frame drops
Constant stutters and low fp on lowest settings with FSR
Experienced minor hitching during combat with proton8-30 and experimental, GE8-30 removed all hitching so far. Still playable even if you don't use GE though.
very little crackling duing cutscenes
cryo utilities (recommended settings)
40hz/fps lock
stuttering in main city
stutters in city dont ever expect 60fps or nice graphics
dont ever expect 60 fps i have all settings on low with fsr quality set 40 hz/fps lock. dips into low 15 fps at times as well. server disconnects are an issue at times but thats the games issue not the SD. cpu bottleneck is the issue of stutter. cryo helps a bit but all issues still persist. its playable..to an extent.
playable if you get past stutters and sometimes annoying server disconnect(not steam decks fault just the game) dont expect 60fps
cryo utilities used recommended settings
40 hz lock
bad stuttering in city at times
used cryoutilities. helped a bit but still stutters. has a bad cpu bottleneck. its playable but no way around these performance problems.dont expect 60 fps at all. all settings are on low with fsr on quality to make it look better or else its fuzzy and looks very unappealing
would sometimes detect clicks or hovers, sometimes not
Game doesn't work, live service issues or continuious crashing. Take your pick.
Tried multiple configurations and different proton.. Multiple command line switches. Also is rocksteady deleting proton reports now!?! Where did my review go. This is absurd.
stutters here and there sometimes bad
I was constantly crashing with a vram error on high and medium setttings. Even though I had plenty vram avail at the time of crash. Seems to be fixed in 2/4 morning update.
Their servers are still an issue, being pulled out of the game randomly to reconnect to the servers
sputtering
server connection issues
Can't do anything. The game is either not loading online or not working. Haven't been able to play 7 seconds.
Tried verious things
I am able to play it until I run into networking issues. Some Windows users are having the same issues though.
I notice some hitches during fights, this may be more game related than linux.
WB services networking disconnect, this may be more game related--at least some Windows users are currently having the same problems.
When some of the open game bugs are fixed, I will try again. I am hopeful and will be watching the bug tracker progress.
Weird lagspikes after 50 minutes into the game, and 5 minutes after a crash.
