Install decky loader and then powertools. In powertools, Turn off SMT amd set CPU frequency limit to 3500. This will make the game a lot more playable, but it's still not great.
I'm at the first major boss and the FPS hovers around 30-40. I imagine future levels will be even more hectic and feature larger FPS drops.
