Works out of the box with or without launch options. Really good performance/fps with rtx 4070 & i7 14700k

I had to set FPS limit to 120 because my screen would flicker on Ultra/"Badass" settings listed in the menu. I am going to try to raise it to 165 since that's my monitors refresh rate, and I'm guessing it will work. But, if it doesn't just set the fps limit to 120 and you can use the maxed out settings just fine. I get very high fps in this game even at the highest settings with my system. I haven't noticed any glitches or any other problems and I doubt I will other then the one I just mentioned which was easy to fix. On my steam deck, it also works flawlessly without any launch options and good fps/performance. Great game!
55-60 FPS on low settings with amd fideltiy sharpening on, medium 47-50fps fsr on, high 27-30 fps fsr on.

I would run it the low settings preset, then turn on amd fidelity sharepning option on the bottom in the visuals menu, and then up some two settings up by one (low to medium) and you'll get a solid 55-60fps still. Game runs great out of the box using ProtonGE 9-11, no launch options technically required. It works great on the steam deck. I haven't tested normal proton experimental / proton 9 but they most likely work out of the box as well. Great game for linux pc users or linux steam deck users

I use max settings with ray tracing and I get good fps and performance with no issues at all. The game works great on Arch Linux. I have not tried this game on my Steam Deck yet.

When using the HD textures, and then disabling them it really broke my game to the point where the graphic glitches where everywhere. I fixed it by reinstalling the game without the HD textures. I don't know why this happened. The VRam counter wasn't telling me how much I was using properly either.
Occassional crashing, but easily forgettable and doesn't happen often enough.
it was easy to setup, hd textures caused some problems, the vram counter was broken after trying to use them. im unsure of why still but after a reinstall it worked

The game worked pretty well out of the box with ProtonGE. Very minor lag spikes at the beginning that quickly went away. It worked slightly better then my ex-girlfriends PC with Windows 11. Similar PC specs to mine.

Very fast, consistent fps, no graphical glitches, no gameplay problems, no crashes, this game is one of the games in my library that runs amazingly and equal if not better than windows
It runs actually fairly well for me, big bonus for me was seeing that I could use DLSS + FSR Frame Gen on a NVIDIA gpu
gamemoderun WINEFSYNC=1 WINEESYNC=1 PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr,dxr11 mangohud %command% -showlinkingqr
Needs -showlinkingqr if you want to play, my other launch options are optional and you can run it without them. I get really good fps with fsr frame gen + dlss on quality mode, other games have mad me use fsr so I like how it allowed me to use amd frame gen and nvidia dlss at the same time. and I haven't had any of the issues so far that other people have reported so maybe I'm just lucky. But, I've only played for a few hours so perhaps thats why. I got it for 10$ on bundle since I owned the original so i'm happy with it. To import saves: Copy "Horizon Zero Dawn" to clipboard from your "My Documents"/"Documents" folder of the wine prefix of the original game /home/USERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1151640/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Horizon Zero Dawn
Paste "Horizon Zero Dawn" into the "Documents"/"My Documents" folder of the new games wine prefix. /home/USERNAME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2561580/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents original game id: 1151640 remastered id: 2561580
After that run the game you should see your saves when you hit "load" under the imported saves tab, just load into one, then do a manual save and you're done your save will convert over. Have fun! :)

not a HUGE deal but randomly id have to restart the game because all the textures turned pitch black, but it doesnt happen that often and restarting the game fixes it.
Random crashes, I'm unsure what causes them. I tried the different things other people suggested, but it still happened. It doesn't happen often enough for it to bother me though.
I kept VSync on and the fps I'd get stayed consistently at 165 which is my monitor refresh rate this is with RT + DLSS Quality + Advanced PhysX on + Hairworks. There was random crashes, or sometimes all the textures went pitch black, but it wasn't a problem I would just restart and it wouldn't happen for a while it doesn't really effect gameplay that much for me. A minor annoyance at best. Overall it's a great game on Linux. I'm guessing the normal metro exodus the native one would work better and wouldn't have these crashing problems, but I prefer the enhanced edition with proton anyways because it looks better.

No issues really it's fun, no fsr frame gen (since nvidia frame gen don't work on linux I think?), but that doesn't really matter much to me since it's not exactly a very graphically intense game for my gpu. I have seen like some weird texture issues in how the rocks and plants spawn, but I have seen the same graphical issues on windows so I don't think it's a linux thing.
overall tho this is one of the games on my list of the most easiest games to run on linux in my library.
The game works with or without my launch options, it runs at the highest FPS consistently very well and looks beautiful.

In settings, AVOID enabling NVIDIA's Frame Generation, for some reason it will allow you to enable it despite frame generation not being available on Linux yet which will cause a black screen, if that happens, force close the game, and use the following command inside the games prefix folder: tyler@arch …/2429640/pfx/drive_c 10:52 find "/run/media/$USER/DriveNameHere/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2429640" -type f -exec grep -i "DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled" {} + Remember to replace the folder in quotes to your games prefix/compatdata folder.
It should return the location for your GameValue.ini you can either delete it or just change the value like below:
Then in GameValue.ini CTRL+F for this setting: TLGame.TLOption.DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled Make sure it's set to false. TLGame.TLOption.DLSSFrameGenerationEnabled#1=false Then the game will work again. (Thankfully this setting isn't on by default so you don't need to worry about it unless you accidentally enabled it)
I had to disable the 60FPS limit that was set by default when starting the game, but after I did that and avoided accidentally enabling NVIDIA's frame generation, the game ran perfectly vsynced to my 165hz monitor @ 165 fps consistently without dropping using DLSS Quality + Epic Presets(highest preset) so you don't really need frame generation anyways, although it would be nice to have nvidia's original dlss on quality mode + amd fsr frame gen on all games since that has worked in a few other games I own. Hell, even FSR + FSR Frame gen is better even on an NVIDIA card. But for a game like this that runs very smoothly without being too hard on my higher end hardware something like frame gen wouldn't really make any difference. It's a fun game, little bugs if at all I've found, stable, no crashes, runs right out of the box with or without my launch options so it's a good game for PC Linux users. (not sure about steam deck yet haven't tried it on mine yet)

I just used the default settings for this game, didn't really tinker much with it other then my default launch options that I use, I don't have any of the audio problems other people are reporting. All I can say really is the game really runs my hardware really hot and uses a lot of my resources which causes occassional lag, when I set fps limit to 80 the lag stopped happening.
If you want to play singleplayer like I enjoy doing, then yeah it's fine if you can deal with the load times, just remember to be patient

installed ubisoft connect with protontricks under "install applications" didn't login on it since i don't have access to my account and ubisoft support doesnt reply so i just allow steam to login during launch for me.
not a fps problem or anything or the game itself, but rather the splash screen takes FOREVER for some reason despite being installed on a very new fast nvme ssd and the latest gen hardware. ive had the same problem on windows kvm and native windows, just wait don't mess with ubisoft connect or anything, it will load eventually.
You need to install ubisoft connect via protontricks, then personally I disable EAC which will also make multiplayer not work for you, but other users have suggested workarounds for this that i have not personally tried. benchmarks on max settings the game allows i average around 130 fps with my hardware, with vsync enabled which is why the fps number seems low to prevent screen tearing, the game works great with few bugs and graphical problems apart from the really extremely slow loading time being the most annoying thing for me, for others it might be the eac issue but i don't play multiplayer enough to care.
Overall it runs great with no problems. It sucks that it's online only, but at least there is no anticheat compability issues with proton.

installed ubisoft connect since game was having trouble launching without it, easy fix.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is fully online, with no offline version available. If there were any connectivity issues, I would notice, but the game runs smoothly without problems. No anticheat problems like Ghost Recon Wildlands, I didn't have to disable EAC or anything.
I don't play co-op, but I don't think there is a local multiplayer option. A lot of the game's functionality appears to require an online connection, and the game itself won't run without it. This is unlike Ghost Recon Wildlands, where you can start the game in offline mode.
It runs at a perfect 165 fps (VSynced to my monitors refresh rate) on "Ultimate" settings which was the max it would allow me for everything. It uses about 8gb of vram (if the counter in game is accurate I haven't checked nvidia-smi), and FSR works well even with my RTX card. No graphical issues, lag, anticheat kicks, or anything. I haven't tested without Proton GE, but the game runs amazingly on Linux. :)

Not much I can say it works perfectly with my PC with my launch options which I use for almost every game. It works without the launch options just as well though.
