Sometimes you need to restart game few times as it does not connect to online services, also, connecting to servers with mods is painfully slow
Since 15.1.2024 game is not running under any version of Proton (I tried all the versions including GE, TKG...)
Game is basically unplayable with recent Proton or GE-Proton versions, did not launch at all with anything that 8x series Proton
Basically unplayable, crashes randomly all the time
Would not recommend, I remember I used to play it on Linux, but I wasn't able to get it to run with older proton versions (immediate crash) and with recent Proton versions freezes so often, it's basically unplayable.
in launcher unselect "Use DX12"
so far first mass effect does slightly stutter at the times, but does not make game unplayable
I always use Proton Experimental, but okay, it's tinkering :)
Game crashes with diagnostic window, no matter my fiddling with proton(-ge) versions.
Proton log hints at vulkan error, could not find a solution nowhere :(

Unplayable. Definitely there is something happening on background, but... I've tried Proton 9.0-2 as suggested but game does not even run. All other versions give black screen.
I used DX12 version, no problems there except my aging hardware :)
EAC error - cannot find process' path
tried every proton/proton ge version
not working on my setup, tried several combinations of launch options and proton/proton ge, no luck.
